About this mod
Preset for Archery Locational Damage that takes into account real world arrow/bolt dynamics in order to replicate armor piercing properties for archery in Skyrim. Arrows deal full damage to targets in light armor, and reduced damage to heavy. Bolts deal full damage up to heavy. Both deal increased damage to unarmored targets.

Disabled the shot difficulty bonus from the default Archery Locational Damage (ALD) complex ini.
Completely removed knockdown and stagger effects from hits with arrows/bolt. Knockdown is skyrim is one of the worst mechanics in the game and ruins the flow of combat. If you like it, simply head to the ALD modpage to figure out how to turn it back on.
Arrows Stats:
Head - Heavy: Complete deflection, 0% damage
Head - Light: 1.15 damage multiplier, 75% chance to reduce actor damage, 50% to silence
Head - Unarmored: 1.25 damage multiplier, 100% chance to reduce actor damage, 100% to silence
Neck - Heavy: 0.75 damage multiplier, 25% chance to cause bleeding
Neck - Light: 0.90 damage multiplier, 50% chance to cause bleeding
Neck - Unarmored: 1.25 damage multiplier, 100% chance to bleeding
Body - Heavy: complete deflection, 0% damage
Body - Light: 1.00 damage multiplier, 35 chance to cause bleeding
Body - Unarmored: 1.15 damage multiplier, 75% chance to cause bleeding
Arms - Heavy: 0.75 damage multiplier, 25% chance to reduce actor damage
Arms - Light: 1.00 damage multiplier, 50% chance to reduce actor damage
Arms - Unarmored: 1.15 damage multiplier, 100% chance to reduce actor damage
Legs - Heavy: 0.75 damage multiplier, 25% chance to slow
Legs - Light: 1.00 damage multiplier, 50% chance to slow
Legs - Unarmored: 1.15 damage multiplier, 100% chance to slow

Neck - Light: 1.2 damage multiplier, 75% chance to cause bleeding

Body - Heavy: 1.00 damage multiplier, 40% chance to cause bleeding
Body - Light: 1.15 damage multiplier, 50% chance to cause bleeding
Body - Unarmored: 1.15 damage multiplier, 75% chance to cause bleeding
Arms - Heavy: 1.00 damage multiplier, 50% chance to reduce actor damage

Some people may not like arrows being ineffective against heavy helmets/cuirass, but in my opinion it adds depth to gameplay. You can't go through the entire game and stomp solely with a bow. A cross bow isn't ideal in every situation either. You will have to do more in combat than simply "shoot arrow, win game".

INSTALLATION
REQUIREMENTS (below mods and all of their requirements)
Archery Locational Damage
Step 1. Install ALD with your favorite mod manager or manually.
Step 2. Install my preset. Let it overwrite ALD.
Recommended Mods
Phenderix Elements - The elemental cloaks added by this mod allows you to do elemental damage with arrows/bolts. I.e. if you do reduced physical damage depending on the armor type, use an elemental arrow to offset the damage loss.
Archery Rebalance NG - Projectile Tweaking and Dynamic Draw Speed. Adds additional overall depth to bow gameplay.
Bow Charge Plus - Adds a Charge attack to bows. Amazing mod.
