NordWarUA's awesome Sons of Skyrim mod adds a new version of the Iron Arrow. Because it shares the same name as the vanilla Iron Arrow, it results in two different types of arrow in your inventory that are called the same thing. To add a touch of variety, I've provided a few renaming options. That's it!

The new Iron Arrows from Sons of Skyrim have been renamed. You can pick from the following options:
  • Imperial Arrows
  • Military Arrows
  • Scavenged Arrows
  • Stormcloak Arrows

Changes can be implemented in one of two ways, selected in the provided FOMOD:
  • A light-flagged ESP plugin; or
  • SkyPatcher .ini files with no plugin

  • Standard version: ESP with ESL (light) flag
  • SkyPatcher version: no plugin included or required, .ini files only

  • The standard (.esp) version of this mod changes the Sons of Skyrim Iron Arrows ammo and projectile entries, and so will conflict with any mod that changes those same entries
  • The Anniversary Edition is listed as a requirement; frankly I haven't tested this with other versions than 1.6.1170 and I have no idea if it will work with anything older. If you try my mod on a previous version, please leave a comment in the Posts tab with your experience!

Important notes:
  • Ensure that Sons of Skyrim is installed and enabled before installing this mod.
  • If you want to use the SkyPatcher version, ensure that it is also installed and enabled before installing this mod.
  • This mod is safe to install and uninstall mid-playthrough. Note that if you previously had the .esp version installed and switch to the SkyPatcher version, the game will warn you that your plugin is missing, but no harm will come of it.
To install:
  • On the Files tab, click Manual Download and select a download location.
  • Install the downloaded file with your mod manager of choice, i.e. Vortex or MO2. Direct installation of loose files into the Data folder is not recommended.
To uninstall:
  • Remove the mod via the mod manager.
