Please don't download this mod if you have a house mod or town mod in the same cell. I can't patch or correct that. It appears Riften Extension Southward district mods buries this mod. It is not compatible with this mod. This mod is next to Snow Shod Farm.

But I hope I can use this mod without creating a new game if I use the old version from 2019? I've been using it for years (but I can't remember if I installed it at the start or in the mid playthrough) - I'm still using and old Skyrim SE 1.5.97. The description doesn't state specifically if you can't update this mod during playthrough or if you can't install it for the first time during playthrough. I guess you can't update - but can you install it for the first time during playthrough?
This is on the description of the updated file. "Main file requires a new game save. Don't use on an existing save with older version." The reason you can't update on an existing game with the older version is that the save game of 2019 will keep what was there before which causes corruption.
Very nice home. And the fertile soils are so easy to use. There is no confusion as to what soil you are working with so nothing gets removed accidentally. Thanks! Kids and Inigo are sleeping where they belong. Kids upstairs and Inigo on the first floor room. Spouse is sleeping in the basement guest room. I see someone noted that setting all the guest beds as owned by Lydia worked to get the spouse to sleep in the master bed. I will try setting guest beds as owned by Inigo and report back. **EDIT** I did not have to use the console. Just made my spouse a follower, had him follow me to the bedroom ;-) and did the "about this location" and told him to sleep here. Then told him to part ways, which means he went home, which is where we were. Worked.
I never had the beds owned by Lydia. There are beds that stated owned but that is a child's bed. There is a switch on the wall that changes child to adult.
In my game the double bed in the upstairs has disappeared when i updated the mod. I tried going back to the old mod and still no bed. What should i do next to fix it?
It sounds like you didn't start a new game. This required a new game. Per the change log I stated that I removed the standard noble bed option, and only have a new custom double bed. I also changed containers. You have to start a new game. I checked the BSA with nifscope and the new bed nif and textures are listed.
Your existing game is looking for the old ref IDs. This file has changed items and new IDs. The IDs are also a function of load order.

When you take an update for a plugin mod on an existing game you corrupt the save game because it is looking for the old ref ID. When you download a mod use a new game save.If you follow the above instructions you still need to go to a save before you visit the cell. I'm assuming it would be wise to place the old file in the same load order it was before.
I just check and the room change from kids to to followers are working, fireplace switch works, banner switch works, armor removal from bathing works. So what switch are you asking about?
Master bed no longer will switch to minimize NPC confusion. There is an x-marker that is used to tell the spouse where to sleep. The old design allowed changing the master bed which would have changed the x marker as well. That was removed to reduce NPC confusion. Armor removal was removed from bed but kept in bathing area. This is because there are sleep wear mods out there, and users want PJs.
I updated the mod check change log for details. Also feel free to state if you think this should be changed to two cells instead of one, and state if the merchant and lower bedrooms should be moved to another cell. Interested in knowing how the mod is used by others.
Looks like an amazing player home and kudos for the work you have put into it. Unfortunately, it severely conflicts with the Riften Extension - Southwoods District mod which is a keeper in my load order.
I check that mod. It went up in 2021 and it is a town expansion mod. This is a small house mod that went up in 2017. I can't patch this. The mod Riften Extension buries my home but thanks for the warning.
Found a couple of bugs 1) My child wouldn't sleep on the right-hand bed on the ground floor. Since I had only 2 children I changed those beds to follower beds to force the children upstairs but then my spouse (Jenassa) slept on one of the ground floor beds instead of the master bedroom! Eventually, I fixed the problem by using the console to click on the ground floor beds and basement follower beds and typing "setownership 000A2C94" to make them all belong to Lydia. Finally, spouse and children are sleeping correctly in the right places! And if I bring a follower to the house, I can just use "setownership" again to make sure everyone gets the right bed.
I saw the same child bed problem in CC Myrwatch but that place only has 2 child beds total so nothing could be done.
2) Also, the Dragon Elder Scroll Stand doesn't work but Sun and Blood do.
Otherwise, great mod! I found other homes often too big and feeling empty with flat NPCs who didn't say anything interesting. Or too small. Or being too far away from anything and feeling out-of-place. Lakeside Riften Manor avoids all these problems. Only problem is, handing a home to a player for free ruins game balance but I guess most people are putting this mod on a continuing game (Honeyside is just not going to cut it for the late game) or are long-time Skyrim players. CC Shadowfoot Sanctum also has all the amenities in Riften but which self-respecting dragonborn wants to live in a sewer?
Not a bug. There is no modification of the marriage quest or adoption quest in this mod. This mod only provides the markers that the Hearthfire multiple adoptions mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3862 is looking for. I can't produce your bug in my game. That being said I'm going to simplify this mod with less linked storage and make it easier for an already heavily modded Skyrim SE/AE to support.
Absolutely love this house mod. One of my favorites in all the time I've been breakin... I mean modding skyrim. I would put it right up there with some of Elianora's work. Only two small bugs I noticed, 1) the textures for the bookcases in the mainroom seem bugged/wrong color. I will take a picture at my earliest convenience and 2) the button for the water splash by the oven outside does not seem to work. Nothing major imo but figured I would bring attention to it (I am running Immersive and Epic collection if you want to know about possible mod conflicts)
Its one of the best player homes i've seen in a while. Everything about it feels perfect for an assassin/nightingale playthrough. The interiors are a bit dark but that may elfx.
I had to come back and get this one and endorse while I'm at it, really is a staple in my load order now and my absolute favorite player home :), absolute gem.
