Q: The positioning of the objects seem wrong. A: For whatever reason, these objects are baked into your save.Try using Save Unbaker.
The unbaker didnt work, even changes i was making in SSEdit weren't being taken into effect and i finally realized BOS was overwriting some of the large brazier positions that were being applied over/despite of other mods and patches for solitude (i didnt want to f around with my 1300 mod load order much and only shifted this mod around a little with no luck)
To change the position of the braziers, just open the ...\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Solitude Braziers_SWAP.ini and change the numbers to fit your needs. Use ConsoleUtilSSE to get ID's and the coordinates of whatever needs moving
These are great. Could you do one for Windhelm as well, specifically the braziers at fhe entrance of the palace of kings are horrendous. I have a brazier replacer for windhelm but it doesn’t cover the palace ones.
I'm doing it in a manual way via SSEdit (no Base Object Swaper or SPID in my game). So far it works great.
Edit. Conflicts with Relighting SE and "Fires and Embers Clipping Fix". Most of the issues invoked by this page are already fixed by the two preceding mods. I'm keeping Vanilla because it fit better to the game.
If it is compatible with Ember XD, this changes the appearance of the Ember and its size.I really enjoy using your mods but sometimes the mesh gets in the way of other mods. That's why I ask.
I'll just test it. Ember XD is a nice mod but it adds new embers and changes the mesh. That's why it tends to clash with other mods. Thx for your work, i love your Mods very much.
You can use both mods without fear, object swapper mods don't clash (usually) the way "classical" mods do.
For example, I use both Lux Via and Skeevers Unique Bridges, the worse thing that happened was that I had to move 4 torch posts and 4 sconces, that's it.
Base Object Swapper exchanged one bridge with the other to begin with, so Lux Via's bridge and Skeever's bridge can't collide, just the leftover Lux Via items had to be moved.
Pretty much same case here, this mod will change the relevant Solitude braziers, everything else will use Embers'.
Great mod! This first time I saw the coal piles in game I thought it was a conflict in my load order but nope, just didn't have the right mod to fix it!
Just a heads up, you might have missed one, its in a weird spot. As soon as you enter the temple, look straight up. I drew an arrow to were I think a brazier might fit.
My assumption was that Seasons of Skyrim wouldn't accidentally swap the braziers. But given the note in the changelog, perhaps it's to disallow Seasons of Skyrim to coat it with snow?
its working fine for me jk's doesn't alter as much as some think it mainly adds stuff. I have seen no weird stuff and it all seems to be working and looking good.
I was about to say "another wtf Beth ? mod" but the fact that the devs used the nordic brazier model for Solitude city, proves they certainly ran out of time at that moment... Or maybe it was pure lazyness XD

it IS called RuinSconce01 .. So i guess it is used elsewhere but looks horrible in windhelm.
Windhelm Brazier Replacer - Base Object Swapper
(and if you're using EmbersXD, it has a patch in the FOMOD for the BOS version)
Using these combinations above, replaces all the round braziers in Windhelm for cage braziers, and the braziers on the entrance of the palace as well
It also looks completely fine. I mean this was what it was like before:

this is the after:

Edit: adjusted some grammar.
So I'm assuming that this is basically the same thing as wSkeever's solution, and that the latter is redundant if selecting this option in Embers XD.

Thanks again, endorsed
Regardless, Thank you wSkeever.
Now I can't unsee it.
I need this mod. Can't visit solitude without it... Supply and demand.
