About this mod

A mini overhaul of Anorith's Shack, a small hunter's lodge tucked away on Lake Illinalta (originally created by Trapiki). Features arrow and (optionally) campsite crafting.

Changelogs
This is a reworked port of an early Skyrim mod by Trapiki. It uses Dispensation's port as a base, since they had already fixed a load of errors. Credits and thanks to both of them; permission has been received from both.

The shack is tucked away behind some trees on the north-west side of Lake Illinalta; it's out of sight and yet still manages to provide a beautiful view from the garden. I fell in love with the location and design of the shack, so I started to modify it for my own personal use and eventually I felt like posting it.

Original Features
  • Built into the world - no cells
  • Bed (provides well rested bonus)
  • Cooking pot
  • Alchemy station
  • Chopping block
  • Tanning rack
  • Small garden with ingredients and food
  • Numerous storage containers
  • Nearby fishing spot visible from the house

NEW Remastered Features
  • Arrow crafting station with a custom mesh (includes long bow, hunting bow, steel crossbow) - located under the alchemy station
  • (Optional) Campsite crafting station - turns the deer statue into a tent; activate to craft camping supplies (requires CC Camping)
  • Solid roof so that no rain gets in
  • Named storage - raw meat (a crudely-made custom chest with meat on ice inside); wood (some more are planned)
  • Refined Hunting Bow under the bed (base damage of 10 instead of 7 and draws slightly faster)
  • ESL flag

Additional Remastered Changes
  • Removed the grotto found in the original mod, as (in my opinion) it was lore-unfriendly (Snow Elf statue located inside) and changed the vibe of the house (done with permission from Trapiki)
  • Made most of the items inside of the house static, excluding the pelts and the ingredients in the basket (I hate knocking things over)
  • Added a woodcutter's axe outside
  • Added a lantern above the alchemy station to make use of the rack space and brighten up the room a little
  • Changed the potted plant from a shrub to a dragonflower, as texture replacers could make the shrub look strange
  • Slightly shuffled around the items on the bedside drawer
  • Slightly shuffled around the plants near the chopping block
  • Shifted the ferns to make the path to the garden more clearly defined
  • Changed the iron arrows to steel and moved them to the table outside
  • Swapped a tree outside to a different kind, as Happy Little Trees was making it clip into the shack
  • Removed the chest that was underneath the alchemy station (needed to make room)
  • Readjusted moss and plants growing on the shack to accommodate for the new roof
  • Changed the jug texture from Nordic to normal glazed (did this by accident and thought it looked better anyway)

Recommendations
I recommend using Curtains for Shacks to add a curtain to the back door (requires Base Object Swapper). All you need to do to set it up is find the 'Curtains for Shacks_BOS_SWAP.ini' file and add the following to the bottom of it:

(This mod will eventually be updated to include every shack automatically and so this will have to be tweaked, but it works for now.)

Notes
I plan to continue to make small updates to this mod as I get more experience and think of more things to add. I'd like to remake the fridge at some point and add more named storage, and I have a few ideas for where I can use activators, but other than that I don't intend to pack this with too much stuff - it was already pretty much perfect before I touched it.

Grass will likely clip through the floor depending on your textures. I'm not talented enough to fix this by raising the house and all the navmeshes without breaking anything. If anyone wants to have a crack at it then please do.

This is my first time attempting anything like this so any feedback is appreciated. Once again, thank you to Trapiki and Dispensation for doing most of the hard work.
