Forgive me for being such a slowpoke, but I read the mod description, read the comments and still don't understand, can I use Lightened Skyrim and Lightened Skyrim - BOS edition together or do I need to choose one? P.S. I will be installing this mod on a new game.
Thank you very much for your answer! Perhaps this should be added somewhere on the mod description page, because I think I'm not the only one who is so slow-witted.
So what does "No visual difference" mean, what exactly does the mod do? Does it remove items until we get closer, or if we can't see them? Does it remove a lot of clutter entirely? I saw one of the videos where it says it removes some unseen objects, but then later in the video, I see objects in clear sight being removed. I'm really curious about the specifics, I want to know what I'm getting into. Thanks for your time making this.
You should always read the description of a mod before you download it. In this case, the mod specifically links you to the original mod which fully describes what it does. Obviously no system is perfect, the base game itself will occasionally have pop-ups/outs, doesn't mean it was this mod that did it. Anyway, the difference is that this one uses the Base Object Swapper module which is again something you should read up on before you use.
In fairness I can not find a full explanation of what this mod swaps out. I went to the original mod page and maybe I missed something obvious but again I could not find a thorough explanation..
As far as I understand, your mod removes or moves unnecessary objects from the world. Please tell me, I have JK's Whiterun Outskirts + ryns farm + LUX Via + CS, the fps drops a lot, please tell me how I can add my own object to make the scene lighter.
There are slight changes in the intensity of the colors and it also slightly distances the first-person view. The changes are not removed even if you delete the mod, unless you start from a game after the mod.
