  • Resolving Issues With Neck Seams

    This article covers the basics of resolving issues with Neck Seams on Visions NPC Replacers. Please keep in mind that Neck Seams and face discoloration on two different support topics. Neck Seams are caused by NPC weights baked into your save game file.

    There are two methods to fix Neck Seams:

    A) Download the Excellent Mod called Save Unbaker by powerofthree. This mod prevents baked-in weights in your save game to control the weight of the NPC and relies only on the weight from the NPC records. It is the recommended way to solve all your issue with weights. Check it out.

    B) If you are stubborn and don't want the solution in A, then do this manually:

  • NPC Black Face or Face Discoloration

    Black Face or Face Discoloration is caused by mod conflicts and load order issues. To resolve this you can do a number of things. Below are the list of things you should to do fix it:

    A) Make sure Visions NPCs load after any other mods that touch NPCs. Please be aware that not only replacers effect NPCs. Some mods have NPC records in them when distributing armor or weapons for example. In these cases, you will need to make a conflict resolution patch.
