COTN is a wonderful series of mods by JPSteel2 which provides unique architecture to some of the cities, and heavily inspired by the cities in ESO.
The buildings in Morthal are all solid wood, including the foundations. However in ESO, these buildings have stone foundations.
I wanted to give the buildings in Morthal a little extra detail and bring them a touch closer to their ESO looks by providing them with stone foundations.
I feel that it gives them a nice little extra detail and kinda makes sense to have a nice solid foundation.
To accomplish this, I started with the optimized meshes and added on the standard stone foundations/walls from the games existing farmhouse meshes. In a few spots I've also added a couple extra wood beams to help make things look a little more appropriate, but these blend nicely with the existing beams.
I also did not edit any of the collision. My stone and beam additions are just layered over the existing mesh so they stick out slightly from the existing collision. This however should largely be unnoticed.
