ESM flagged ESP that contains decompressed records from all vanilla ESM files and optionally the Creations that come with AE, for use along SSE Decompress Records. Improves performance.

In case you weren't aware, Skyrim compresses certain record types, presumably to save space on the disk. This compression comes at the cost of performance. SSE Decompress Records enables you to decompress all mods for extra performance, but Skyrim.esm and a plethora of records in it will remain compressed, due to technical reasons preventing it from being modified.

This is an ESM (and also ESL) flagged ESP that contains decompressed versions of all applicable records from all the vanilla game files and optionally the Creations that come with AE. It is not a replacement for SSE Decompress Records and is meant to be used alongside it. It was created using a script given to me by Taffer42, please go slam the kudos button on his profile for making this work.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Install this mod's files and place them at the very top of your load order, just underneath the vanilla game files. Do NOT let ANYTHING else load before these plugins, not even the Unofficial Patch or any other mod.
2. Install SSE Decompress Records and extract it to your SSEEdit Edit Scripts folder.
3. Boot up the 64 bit version of xEdit found in the Optional folder of your SSEEdit install, then load all your plugins. (xEdit might crash if you don't use the 64 bit version for this.)

People seem to be having issues using the 64 bit version of xEdit. You can try using the regular version but it might crash. I personally just rename the 64 bit executable to SSEEdit.exe and replace the standard one, this should fix any issues with scripts not being found. Backup your original SSEEdit.exe if you choose to do this.

4. After loading all modules, select every plugin in your load order below these plugins. Do not select Skyrim Decompressed Records.esm, any of the decompressed CC content, or any of the vanilla game files that come before them.
5. Right click "Apply Script" and select "Decompress Records."
6. Run it. When it's done, make sure that "Backup Plugins" is checked when saving. This way, if something goes wrong, you can restore your old compressed mod files.

Now all records in your load order will be decompressed. The performance boost may vary depending on your PC. If you have a super beefy CPU, this is probably not going to make much of a difference, but some is better than none. For me, it makes a noticeable difference as I have a comparatively weak CPU to most people.

Important note: this currently does not support any Creations besides the free ones that come with AE. If you own the full suite of Creation Club Content and know how to use xEdit, please reach out to me so I can add those. If you do use the full suite of Creation Club content, you cannot use this mod for the time being as it may override changes they make.

As of version 1.1, all Creation Club Content is supported.

Again, huge thank you to Taffer42 for creating the script I used to make this. I can't take a lot of credit as his script did the majority of heavy lifting during the creation of this.

If you originally used SSE Decompress Records, you'll probably want to restore the compressed versions of the vanilla game ESMs, as this mod already decompresses them in its ESP. It won't hurt anything to leave them uncompressed, but you're just wasting extra storage space if you do. If you used/are using the uncompressed version of Skyrim.esm, reinstall the game and restore the compressed version; it is totally broken when uncompressed.

SSEEdit thinks the records in this mod are ITMs, they are not. Do not clean these plugins with SSEEdit. They were created using cleaned ESMs as a base anyway.

Note: this mod makes a few automated edits to some records, particularly navmeshes. These edits were automatically created by xEdit and don't affect anything, but they'll appear as conflicts if the plugin is loaded up in SSEEdit. You can just ignore them.
