This is something I have always wanted to see in a mod! A wonderful idea to add to the deep lore of Tamriel. Will definitely be tracking this mod to see how it goes. Good luck and happy modding!
i really like this idea. i look forward to seeing how it will develop :) i would actually love if more race mods found ways to implement their new races into the world. the only other mod i'm aware of that's doing something similar is zebsirious races
You'll need to make RaceCompatibility a master, or Vampirism, Lycanthropy, and that Dark Brotherhood quest where the chef comments on your race won't work with your races.

You probably couldn't find it because it isn't listed under RaceCompatibility :D You can find it here.
That Dawnguard version should be installed over it, though.
I like the idea of focusing on the sub-races and I´m especially exited that you to plan to add the Afflicted, will be tracking this for now and when I start a new playthrough, I´ll try this mod out.
