You might know my Marijuana Plant mods for Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. I have started to create Marijuana Plant for Skyrim but then Virakotxa joined me doing most of the great looking 3d models and textures you can see and he brings many new ideas in.
We found that our new mod deserves a complete new start: It's all about the herbs. So is it's name.
Features:
Homegrown detailed, photorealistic and animated plants
Optional handmade character smoking animations when using FNIS
The Your Highness shop near the Whiterun Stables, lore and companion friendly and made of custom textures and unique objects you'll find nowhere else
An animated Laboratory for fermenting elves ear, distil alcohol and to make Hashish as well as Hashish Oil
Harvestable Marijuana plants which you can find outside the Your Highness
Different Cannabis strains with different effects: Azura, Daedric Poison, Jarl Herer, Nord Lightning, Potema's Kush, Sour Divine - each of them with own textures. Each strain has its own benefits and caveats, just scroll down to the FAQ section for more details

Extract the files from the Cannabis Skyrim main file archive to your ...SkyrimData directory
Check the downloads if an update is available and if so, download and extract the contents of the Cannabis Skyrim update file archive to your .../Skyrim/Data directory overwriting existing files
OPTIONAL: Generate the FNIS behavior files with GenerateFNISforUsers.exe if you intend to use the mod with FNIS
Start the Skyrim Launcher, click Data Files, check the Cannabis.esp and CannabisUpdate.esp file
Run the Game
Suggested Update Procedure (You will keep your settings and statistics):
Start the Skyrim Launcher, click 'Data Files' and verify that both Cannabis.esp and CannabisUpdate.esp are checked
Start the game and load a save
Unwear all mod related equipment
Harvest all plants and pick up the planters
Leave the shop if you're in
Use the uninstall feature in the Cannabis Skyrim Options
Save and leave the game
Start the Skyrim Launcher, click 'Data Files', uncheck the Cannabis.esp file but keep the CannabisUpdate.esp ticked
Start Skyrim and play at least three ingame days without the Cannabis.esp file enabled before you proceed with updating
Save your game and exit. This is your clean save
Extract the Cannabis Skyrim update file archive into your ...SkyrimData directory overwriting existing files
OPTIONAL: Generate the FNIS behavior files with GenerateFNISforUsers.exe if you intend to use the mod with FNIS
