Im playing Enderal and this works wonderfully - no problems at all it is brilliant especially the supplies storage as it lets my packrat nature leave nothing behind plus playing Enderal Im not sure what is important and what is not so Im picking everything up just in case. Thank you so much for this wonderful mod.
I've gotten a new laptop to use after a bit ago, and I've finally been in the mood to add stuff to this. I can give your suggestion a try, as well as trying a version with the werewolf/wolf skull. I'll see how it goes.
Also wondering if you can make little barriers. Wood or stone ones so you can make a campsite feel more secure and sheltered if you decide to stay there.
if you know how to make easily placeable things like this, is there any way you'd consider making a light post like the ones lanterns hang from? withOUT the lantern attached? I'd love to have something to hang the 151 Stained Glass Lanterns mod with (i would just use the console to place them, so dont need them to attach via a script or anything fancy like that)
by the way I really like the tent with the deer skull + horns and wreath.
Well I did follow the tutorials for the Campfire Dev Kit for this, which I think where relatively easy enough to follow (although I've had enough CK experience for some time, prior to following them), and granted, probably wouldn't be possible otherwise for me (which is also why the requirement for this mod is Campfire, aside from this serving to add some tents and stuff to it). And well a little bit of nifskope knowledge didn't hurt either (hence the skull and wreath being one mesh).
Also I did a quick peek inside the CK, and there were a couple of light posts (under Statics), that did not have any lanterns added (probably because those are added separately, serving as lights). Now while such a thing (while using this system), could be relatively easy to do and set up, I wouldn't have any use for it myself as I don't use that mod, so not something I'd add to this mod.
However of course, I could do a separate quick mod to do this (and throw it in the optional files). It would have to require Campfire as a master file though. There's just no way I can currently do something like this without its system. Although, perhaps if I may, this could also make for a good first mod with the Campfire Dev Kit by following the tutorials provided, if you're so inclined.
oh yes, no, not part of this mod, it would not fit the mod! sorry I just meant as a side thing.. or like you say in optional even. either way. I see, requiring Campfire is no prob, it's a must for Skyrim anyway, and I've no idea what playing Skyrim is like without Frostfall (which requires the campfire mod) is like because I've never played without it! if you could, that would be great.
and .... once I messed with CK, for like a few minutes. And it was daunting bc I didnt know where to start. Of course, there are tutorials and such. I marked a yt video to watch later.. at some point, I really want to. but I don't know if I'll ever 'get it' (understand it). thanks for replying and for everything
Alright I'll throw it up in the optionals. Also the best place to start if you want to learn the CK, aside from the Youtube tutorials out there is the Creation Kit wiki. They have a series of tutorials designed to teach the controls, and what can be done in it, for the first timer, etc. Also, if you're ever interested, Chesko's tutorials for the Campfire Dev Kit, are easy enough to follow as well.
Edit: Before I upload it, just a few questions. Do you want the Solitude light post or the Riften one (it looks similar to the ones used in Raven Rock from Dragonborn)? Also do you want to be able to place it in towns? If not I'll leave the keyword on it that makes placing it in towns a crime (like the rest of Campfire's stuff). Also I created the placed object as a furniture (what spawns after placing it), but replaced the model with the post. You'll get the option to use it (aside from pick up, or exit), but it will obviously do nothing. It can be burned as well.
You da man! or.. person! thanks! towns? doesnt matter so much, although placeable around the HF homes would be good too - but as long as it's outside! and placeable
ermm... the Solitude one works I guess!
thanks again, i remember literally if I could just get one thing like, listed to work on, I could have a place to go from there, but couldnt get a 'file' started. But I just need to learn and read/watch stuff. thanks, I'll be sure to pm if I ever get something actually working/ posted!
It's pretty fun to make stuff with it. Just wish I had ideas sooner. You do some really nice mods with it as well, I've just yet to make a build that would use them though. Someday though.
I make tents specifically to match my playthroughs so I totally understand about them not all fitting. If I had all kinds of free time I'd have a jillion different tents with all kinds of themes done by now but ... alas
