   Shield still doesn't have the texture fixed... almost 4 years later. Use the version here instead; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11517?tab=files

      Not just you, I just installed and noticed the same thing in the forge menu.
      
      Edit - Went back and crafted one to make sure the game world model had the same issue:

      thanks for confirming this. i really love this set. guess ill have to dual blade then. i really hope this one has dual sheath redux patch. guess ill have to wait and see

   i read the description so correct me if im wrong it adds heroic in front of the stand alone version to differentiate it from the basic?

      That is correct; aside from the variant cuirass which has the purple kilt, which is called "Royal Dwarven Armor" instead.

   wow, haha, god the original mod is old ( well, not that old thought), I remember when it first came out, still looks great after all these time, nice work, mate!
