Backporter's Description (IMPORTANT):

This is my first attempt at backporting any mod and i lack the experience all other backporters have, so i am welcome to any advice or constructive criticism. I did it just for personal use as Skyrim SE/AE doesn't work on my PC for the moment. But i also wanted to share it with the community in case anyone else wanted to try this beautiful look for Serana alongside the great SDA mod on a new save.

THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE BACKPORT OF TRUEBLOOD SERANA: I would say that this backport covers at least 80% of the original mod, as i had some problems along the way. This are the issues i encountered with this backport, so make sure to read this before installing it, to avoid any problems:

1) This backport is of version V1A of Trueblood Serana. The original mod got updated to V2 almost 1 month ago so i decided to start backporting that version, but when testing it gave me problems with Serana's eyebrows: Their textures where extremely bugged and covering her whole eyes, making the face to lookd pretty ugly. Checking V2's changelog i found that in effect one of the main changes was that the eyebrows where lowered and the eyes shape was tweaked. So my guess is that those changes are difficult to backport to LE. So i decided to try backporting V1 instead and now the eyes look perfectly fine. For the moment i just did V1A to use the mod's own meshes and textures. But if people like this backport i plan to also add V1B later on.

2) The Runaway Haristyle doesn't work correctly. This has been a headache for me since day 1 of this small project: This mod offers 3 different hairstyles for Serana: Soundwave, Runaway and Seranaholic V1.5 (i won't go on detail about them here as you will find them below on Martimius's description). But whenever i tried to test the Runaway hairstyle on the backport, the hair looked good, but it was blonde instead of black (or red, which is another option for the colour). That blonde colour is the default colour for the hair, before it gets applied a black (or red) facetint according to what option you choose on the installer. But for some reason said facetint never gets applied so the colour doesn't change. I got pretty frustrated about this issue but at this moment i never could fix it. Fortunately, the other 2 hairstyles work perfectly fine with both black and red colours, so i recommend you to choose either Soundwave (the default hairstyle) or Seranaholic V1.5. Unless of course, you want to play with a blonde Serana haha.

3) This mod comes with an optional patch for the mod Expressive Facial Animations to adapt it to Serana's body. Unfortunately i already use Female Facial Animation which is a very similar mod but it is incompatible with EFA, so i couldn't test the 2 options on the installer for EFA (Vampire Serana EFA and Cured Serana EFA). Maybe they work or maybe they don't, if someone tries it please let me know!.

4) Similar to the last point, this mod comes for patches for 3 different bodyslides: CBBE, 3BA and BHUNP. I use CBBE so all my tests where made with that bodyslides. If anyone uses 3BA or BHUNP and want to test their options, please do it and let me know!

All the other options despite the 4 of above, where tested for me and worked fine. I will keep working on this backport in my free times to try to fix those issues and lif that 80% to a 100%, but due to my lack of experience i don't know if i will be able to do it. If anyone also wants to give a shot to fix them or knows that could be the problem, please go ahead and let me know. I spoke with the original mod author (Martimius) and he gives permission for any user who wants to take a shot at it or advice me about a possible fix!. Also if you happen to post your own fixed version of this backport, please make sure to give credits both to Martimius for the original mod and to me for this part of the backport.

How This Mod Came To Be:
The Serana Dialogue Add-On (SDA) began solely as a dialogue enhancement, without a signature visual. When promoting it, I relied on another modder's visuals, specifically Seranaholic. This reliance illuminated a gap: the need for a unified dialogue and visual experience, leading to the birth of Trueblood. Although independent, Trueblood is designed as a harmonious extension of SDA. The current design, a blend of homage to Serana's origins and a fresh twist, is a product of EDDante34's sculpting prowess and my overarching vision.

In time, all SDA promos will spotlight Trueblood, marking a pivotal evolution from my longstanding use of Seranaholic. Remember, the choice remains yours: pair SDA with Trueblood or opt for another replacer. Whatever your choice, I hope you appreciate the effort and artistry that went into both projects.

Compatibility
Trueblood Serana cannot be used concurrently with other Serana replacers such as Seranaholic or ReImagined. It's a tough choice, picking among these three gems! Additionally, if any mod (that isn't a replacer) modifies Serana's NPC record, you'll need to create a compatibility patch or seek assistance in crafting one.

However, Trueblood Serana pairs perfectly with SDA. In fact, it's highly recommended to use them together for a comprehensive experience!

Install Instructions
1. Install how you normally would with your mod manager of choice. Make sure the esp is enabled before you start the game. 
2. Generate Bodyslides for your installed body preset of choice (CBBE, 3BA, BHUNP Supported). // Only for Version A. You don't need to use this with Version B.
3. (Optional) When installing with the SDA Spell Toggle Expanded Patch from the SDA Patch Hub, tick the "Trueblood Serana" option.



Update Instructions
Just replace the old version with the new one. 


Uninstalling
Uninstalling mods like Trueblood is unsafe mid-save, since it adds scripts that are baked into your save and makes alterations to existing game records and NPCs (Serana most notably). Make sure you test this mod out first before you keep in your load order for real.


Load Order
Any should be fine, as long as this mod wins any and all NPC record conflicts. If you're using patches, make sure they load after Trueblood and nothing overwrites those as well.
