You could always install the follower then take the armor from her and dismiss her, but that doesn't really make much sense to do. There's a mod on here that's similar if more covered on the torso if you like the look.
I was more thinking use the "Inv" console command, but I'm guessing you mean if a player tries to wear it or use it for another follower then it will just look like, per original armor mod, iron armor. So that makes removing from her even more pointless. Just take her along and be satisfied with that. Given how strong you made her, what's not to like?
I just made the port, Im not the autor. there are mods for change armor followers like Immersive Amazing Follower Tweaks, personally I prefer Bathing Beauties or Beefcake it has a outfit changer room
That's why I said per the original armor mod. The author of the armor mod she's wearing states if a male wears it, it just looks like iron armor. They also have a variant that's more covered up for female figures.
In either case, why take the armor from her? It's part of the fun of the mod itself.
