in the entire area around whiterun it crashes, this affects almost all whiterun texture mods that I have used and I don't use any mods there either, I'm sorry to have to say that too, I'm of the opinion that skyrim is not really modable skyrim is the purest crash paradise with mods a pity
I'm sorry your having trouble with instability in Whiterun, It's one of my favorite go to places I would suggest using this guide STEP? to help you with performance and start a good base to build on later. I just recently revived my old game with 400+ Mods installed, it was built using the Step Guideand later modified for my own taste
don't bother i've found that hein has enabled whiterun parallax meshes in his whiterun mod ! also illustrious whiterun has parallax meshes folder (but havent tested so i pref vivid for now) cheers
