Hello! I would like to reiterate here, I'm not the mod author, I just ported the mod.
Please don't request patches here: you can see the planned ports on the description page and that's all that will be published here, while there may be more patches on the main backport page eventually.
Thanks again to Janquel and everyone who made the original patches!
Likely for each town, but I didn’t port all the patches. Essentially each patch corrects all the markers for each city individually, since the city mods are modular
Maybe I can help troubleshoot. Where at? Do you have any mods that add lights to interiors? Are you loading it ELFX-> COTN->Patch? Have you tried putting the patch at the bottom of the load order? Also, are you on a save that has had COTN and the patch installed from the start?
no other mods that add lights. yes and yes. I tested with a new game. the problem with candles by the walls in The White Hall and some lights in a inn.
Hmmm, okay, thanks. I forgot to ask: which of the ELFX patches are you using? (inclusive, exclusive, and/or exterior? I'm going to run some tests, but I need to know which patch(es) to try
Trying to fully emulate a Dark Fantasy Modlist (with some additions to make my own twist) for Skyrim LE (mainly cuz I prefer Skyrim LE)
I was looking into the various mods that I could use to build a dark version of Skyrim but one that also looks appealing. The Dark Fantasy Modlist uses "Gallows of Skyrim" which already has a mod here.
what i'm wondering is if Gallows of Skyrim SE ever conflicted with this mod and if there was a patch, as Gallows of Skyrim adds (as the name says) gallows to every major city.
Haven’t come across any SE patches. Judging by the picture on the mod page (that I *think* is outside of Dawnstar), the gallows seem to be lining the road well outside of town and the scope of COTN’s changes. (If it’s closer to town and you’re using the Great City patch, it could potentially clip with the wall)
You can test it out, and if it needs a patch, feel free to request it. I really can’t test it for conflicts myself, my plate is full
Nah. I don't have the time, energy, permission from the author, or desire to: I've got 2 more big city ports to polish off and bug fix, ~67 patches to convert and playtest thoroughly, an intense summer college course, personal projects, and I have to take a break sometimes.
Here's a tutorial for backporting. It's pretty dense and not perfect, but starting with an armor mod isn't too bad

We look foward to making sure these overhauls are up to date and are working.
Do expect there to be updates for the mods and patches over the next week as we update and fix any issues we find.
This will be copied to the other pages as well.
I have a question. Do you need 3DNPC patch for each town or one patch is enough? I installed COTN for Dawnstar, Morthal, Winterhold, and Falkreath.

Thank you
