amazing mod i love the colors it feels more used and not brand new its sexy but quick question I'm using whyems DLC and I cant use jmrp but all i need to know is how do i get the open gunslinger vest especially with coats bc it bugs me and i feel like you might know how I can get it without jmrp
I believe it's not possible to get the open gunslinger vest on coats without JMRP.
The only way to do it, as far i'm concerned, is to modify the "catalog_sp.ymt" file from WhyEm's mod itself. Tho i wouldn't know how to guide you through that since i never tried to understand how it works.
Best chance you got is to ask GuiCorleone (the creator of JMRP) for some insight of how he managed to do it. Or you can look up a tutorial on google, idk. lol
Hi man, first of all thanks for this mod. I have a question: in the mod John Marston Classic Stubble you uploaded an image that says: Extra Clean Shaven + Face Texture from John Marston Redone. Now if can i ask how did you merge the extra clean shaven file with the John Marston Redone mod? Since they change the same files? Thanks in case you'll answer :)
All i did was take the 2 textures from the respective mods, edit them and merging them on photoshop and then added the edited texture to the .ytd file through a very complicated process that you can find on google.
Well, it ain't exactly black, if you compare the color of his vest with his pants, you'll notice that his vest is slightly brighter and that's exactly what i tried to accomplish here.
But i'll try to make a darker version when i get the chance.
It's honestly just a matter of preference, you can choose whichever version you like, there's nothing wrong about that.
Now, in terms of accuracy, in my opinion, i feel like the base version is the more accurate, since it combines really well with the entire outfit and looks more similar to rdr 1's counter part.
The darker version is just there by request, which is more of a personal preference then a accurate one.

Can you please add clean western coat to the darker vest version too?
Just follow the instructions there and you should have John's vest unbuttoned.

I can send you my edited files if you want me to.
Extract them files inside the "stream" folder, replace if you have to, and you should be good to go.?
Would it be possible to make a black version with gold buttons, like Johns vest in the first game. (not sure if it's a leather vest or denim)
Like the vest he's wearing here?
But i'll try to make a darker version when i get the chance.
Edit: Done
