Version V3.5
W.E.R.O V3.5 changelog:
NPC bodies will no longer feel like hard concrete when shot with High Velocity ammo.
The force of the body caused by Express Ammo is completely removed.
The spin intensity when shot with a revolver, pistol or bow is drastically reduced.
Stumbling has been updated to behave more naturally.
Falling on the ground after shot behavior is changed to behave more naturally.
Gunshot reactions in general are updated to behave more naturally. This includes fixes to upper body feeling dead for NPCs that are holding weapons in their hand.
Falling reactions are updated.
And more!
Version V3.4.5
V3.4.5 CHANGELOG:
Improvements:
(Gunshots)
- Added RDR 1 like force to Rifles and Repeaters (Compatibility patch does not need to be updated)
- Improved overall fluidity when an NPC is shot
- Improved stumbling and balancing. Now there's lower chance of falling when being shot in the shoulders or in the abdominal area
- Falling over a railing is now a lot easier to trigger. NPCs are able to fall over a fence/railing in various angles, as long as it's moving towards it
- General improvements made to gunshot reactions
- Improved shotgun reactions. Disabled head/neck grabbing to further increase immersion. NPCs now violently spin around when getting shot with a shotgun (depends on the shotgun. For example: Repeating Shotgun causes less spin than a double barrel or a sawed off shotgun)
- Reactions caused by the Litchfield Repeater is now more natural
- Falling to knees upon death is now chance based. Now there is a bit of everything in the main version from all the alternative versions combined
- Improved high velocity bullet reactions to resemble a bit of my second euphoria mod, Authentic Euphoria Motions. NPCs now stumble backwards, allowing higher chances of falling over a fence/railing
(Falling/Rolling)
- Falling behaviors are now much more fluid and flexible
- Spinning when falling is drastically reduced
- Added more weight to the falling gravity. Not 1:1 with RDR 1, but close to that level
- Reduced the friction when rolling. This change was made to make falling off of slopy roofs more fun. Rolling will still feel impactful (Not aiming to turn the ground into complete ice)
(General)
- Improved knockout reactions for fistfighting
- Improved behaviors for bumping into pedestrians. It no longer looks unnatural
- Improved distance of flight when near an explosion
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the NPC would not spin after getting shot and would only spin when dead
- Fixed behavior related issues when an NPC fell over or attempted to fall over a railing/fence. Now it looks more natural
- Fixed ground behavior related issues. Now it looks more natural and less bugged out or unrealistic
- Fixed camera related issues for falling. I do recommend turning off camera follow level in the Camera Settings from the Options menu, despite the improvements made due to heavy lock on, making it hard to see your character or move your camera when falling
- Fixed an issue where the NPC would stop stumbling after you stop pushing them
- Fixed legshots for some weapons
- Fixed an issue not known by many where certain weapon groups did not support fall over fence/railing behaviors
- Fixed an issue where the NPC/Player character would go into an A-pose if they hit an object or a wall from the wrong angle
- Fixed an issue where the legs act weird once the player starts falling (most noticeable, when jumping off buildings)
- Fixed an issue where the player character would not fail to balance when being near the edge of a building
And more! This update aims to fix most behavior related issues that looked unnatural and ruined immersion. Also improves aspects to feel more similar to RDR 1. Enjoy the final update!
Version V3.4
V3.4 CHANGELOG:
Gunshot Reactions:
- Backshots now cause the NPC to fall down instead of stumble. When shot in the back with an arrow, the NPC will fall to their knees
- Shooting the shoulders or the sides of the head will make the NPCs spin like in RDR 1
- Stumbling when shot is now much more dynamic! When an NPC gets shot, they will stumble fast or slow depending on the force. They also change directions so that they don't stumble in the same way anymore
- Getting hit with an arrow to the head is now much more brutal and realistic! Sometimes the NPC stumbles, they fall down or they stumble for a few seconds and give up
- Headshots are now more advanced! When the NPC gets shot in the head, the reaction varies based on the weapon and bullet type used. For example, a High velocity Schofield Revolver will make them react in a more different way than a High Velocity Cattleman Revolver.
- NPCs now lie on the ground for up to 4 seconds when downed. That means when an NPC is shot and falls down, they won't be able to stand up immediately
- Shooting an NPC multiple times on the ground will make them roll around and move their arms and legs, much like in RDR 1
- Forces are higher now. Repeater and rifle forces are higher, shotgun forces are more amped up and revolvers have a bit of a higher force depending on the type
- NPCs have an easier chance of now falling over any railing or low/medium sized object. Also, falling over is now more realistic and not too exaggerated
- Bleedout reactions are now greatly improved! NPCs stumble further instead of fall to their knees
- Death reactions are also improved! Increased variety and reduced pattern repetition
- InjuredOnGround reactions have been slightly improved. Now the NPC will not roll around like crazy
- General gunshot reaction improvements. Now it's more refined and looks a lot closer to RDR 1.
- Now when you are using DeadEye, the pushback of the NPC increases with every shot, again much like in RDR 1. This only works on Repeaters, Shotguns and Rifles
- Grabbing for head wounds now happens on only specific weapons and ammo types. Now NPCs do not grab their wound if they are getting shot in the head with a normal ammo type, but does grab their wound when getting shot with a High Velocity ammo type. Will depend on the weapon since some weapons can still cause NPCs to grab their head (even if high velocity ammo is used)
- Legshots are improved! No more 5 second stumbling and it varies based on the weapon and ammo type
- Neckshots are improved!
Player Reactions (Falling, Rolling):
- Falling is greatly overhauled! Now the behavior when falling is now more flexible and varied.
- Rolling is vastly improved!
- Added proper stumbling for the player. So if you have a ragdoll script mod or you hit a steep slope/cliff/hill in the game, the character will stumble and not just go limp
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug (hopefully this time around) where the ammo values for specific weapons was incorrect. Now all weapons should have the default ammo values
- Fixed a bug where the Springfield Rifle's reload rate was too fast. The reload rate is now at default speed
- Fixed a PDO specific issue, where the NPC would stand in place for too long instead of fall down. Now the NPC will naturally start stumbling forward and give up on trying to balance themselves
- Fixed a bug where the NPC would not point their gun at the player when they got shot with a revolver
And much much more since this is only listing the most important and noticeable changes. Enjoy the new update!
Version V3.3
V3.3 Changelog:
Advanced Animation System:
• The limit of movement has been drastically increased, which results in more dynamic reactions.
• The joints/limbs are now more flexible and fluid. Behaviors are less rigid
A Complete Rework Of Falling And Rolling Reactions:
• Falling has been totally redone to be more similar to Red Dead Redemption 1's falling
• The falling feels a lot heavier and more impactful, thanks to the latest implementation of realistic gravity
• When jumping on any steep cliff/hill/slope, you now stumble like you do in RDR 1
• Rolling feels a lot more dangerous now so the chances of dying are higher
A Big Overhaul Of The Gunshot Reactions:
• NPCs now behave more dynamically to a gunshot
• Gunshot reactions are more fluid and responsive now. Also it's more fixed
• Forces now have a much bigger impact on NPCs that can cause them to fall down or spin around (like in RDR 1)
• Instead of NPCs being injured for a long time on the ground, they now writhe on the ground and sometimes roll to the opposite side for a couple of seconds, whether it may be the chest, back, or hips.
• Death reactions are also more dynamic and the behavior is fixed, meaning the NPCs arms don't behave like spaghetti noodles. The NPCs now react more, depending on the gun you shot them with
Extra Improvements:
• On Fire Reactions and Pushing Reactions have been completely redone as well. Now NPCs don't dance around when being burned
• Ragdoll improvements. Now they are less stiff
Other fixes:
• The ammo bug has (and I hope) been finally fixed. Most if not all weapons (including the special weapons) don't have exceeded ammo capacity
• Most glitches and bugs has been fixed. Now you should be able to experience this mod entirely bug-free
and much more! Enjoy the new V3.3 update
Version V3.2
V3.2 changes (Impact And Variety Update):
IMPROVEMENTS AND/OR OVERHAULS:
• (OVERHAUL) Overhauled the gunshot and limb shot reactions entirely. Now characters' bodies are pretty stable when stumbling or trying to balance and they won't fall down so easily anymore when getting shot in the arm, stomach area or the upper body. This version of gunshot reactions was leaned more towards an RDR 1 like style, so you will see lots of similarities
• (IMPROVEMENT) Improved the fatally injured reactions
• (IMPROVEMENT) Improved the stiffness of the body when shooting an NPC in the stomach area. Now it's matched with the overall stiffness of the body
• (IMPROVEMENT) Improved the shotgun reactions. Force is now fixed
• (IMPROVEMENT) Improved the forces of each weapon category
• (IMPROVEMENT) Improved the RDR 1 like body writhe behaviour when in fatallyInjured (dead) state. Now it's more loose and fluid
NEW FEATURES:
• (NEW FEATURE) Added probability to wound reaching for headshots. Now when NPCs get shot in the head, there is a slight chance they will grab for their wound and sometimes not at all (weapon type will vary the amount of probability)
• (NEW FEATURE) Added variety to global and fatally injured ground behaviours. In global gunshot situations (when the NPC is alive), they will go into different types of behaviours when they fall on the ground. During fatally Injured situations (when the NPC dies), they start writhing on the ground and rolling around like in RDR 1 and sometimes they won't.
• (NEW FEATURE) Added RDR 1 like upper body knockback. Now if you have played RDR 1 for a long time, you will know that NPCs will sometimes pull their body back into an upright stance after getting shot in the chest. Now ofc, weapon type and ammo type varies. It won't happen all the time and will depend on what weapon you use. For example repeaters have a higher chance while revolvers have a lower chance. The amount of knockback also varies
• (NEW FEATURE) Added RDR 1 like falling behaviour when falling from high altitude and kept the GTA IV type falling behaviour when you are falling from a low altitude.
• (NEW FEATURE) Added variety to InjuredOnGround behaviours. Now the behaviour varies depending on the weapon you use. For example, you throw a tomahawk on someone and they die, there can be a good chance that they will barely move their arms/legs on the ground (you can still see if they are moving their body a little), while some weapons can cause NPCs to have a spasm like behaviour.
BUG FIXES:
• (BUG FIX) Fixed an issue where the NPC would be sent flying after shooting them in the leg with a shotgun
• (BUG FIX) Fixed an issue with weapons.ymt, where most weapons had more rounds than they normally hold
• (BUG FIX) Fixed an issue where NPCs would fall down when near railings (especially Valentine Saloon's upstair railings and the hotel's balcony railings)
• (BUG FIX) Fixed an issue where falling from high altitude can cause the ragdoll to stay on the ground for way too long sometimes
BONUS CHANGES:
• Changed the way how the camera feels when rolling or falling
OTHER CHANGES WORTH MENTIONING:
• Scrapped the "Snappy Gunshot Reactions" alternative version entirely and integrated it into the base mod (all versions included). Now you can switch between snappy gunshot reactions and less exaggerated reactions on the fly by changing your ammo type to express. That ammo type will cause NPCs to have a snap like reaction, resulting in more impactful hip firing. Supports all weapon types that have express ammo
• The "Slower Get Up Time" alternative has now been renamed to "Longer Reaction Time (5.0 seconds)" because it doesn't make sense now that NPCs balance more. In the previous update, NPCs wouldn't balance much and would just fall down regardless of what part of the body the bullet lands on. This alternative version extends the time of the euphoria physics in shootouts before it stops and since they react for a longer period of time, balancing is also extended to avoid falling down on the ground. Mostly recommended for people who just want to play with the physics, not aimed towards realism. Supports other alternative versions as well
And much more!
Version V3.1
V3.1 changes:
NEW FEATURES:
• (NEW) Added RDR 1 identical ground writhe reaction with bigger improvements compared to V2.9's way of implementing this feature. When the NPC reaches it's death state, they will sometimes roll around and will roll faster if you rapidly shoot them (ammo and weapon type will vary)
• (NEW) Improved Bleedouts! Now NPC's either drop instantly or fall to their knees when they enter into a bleed out state
• (NEW) Reworked gunshot reactions to provide more stable balancing and less wobbly movements. Drastically decreased movement speed when the NPC is stumbling
• (NEW) Melee combat reactions noticeably improved. NPC's will now block their face with their arms when stumbling backwards and puts their arms in the back of the head when they are stumbling forwards (just like in GTA IV). Also more stable balancing
• (NEW) Added a new alternative version called "Extended Balancing on death" and brought back the Snappy Gunshot reactions with other combined alternative versions. Also added a version called "slower get up time". Available for every version
IMPROVEMENTS:
• (IMPROVEMENTS) Improved headshots
• (IMPROVEMENTS) Ground reactions drastically changed and improved (Ammo & Weapon Type will vary)
• (IMPROVEMENTS) Improved falling reactions and rolling reactions. Now falling reactions feel less dead
• (IMPROVEMENTS) Forces are now much more improved and balanced. NPC's upper bodies won't be blasted when being shot with any revolver or pistol. Forces are now much higher when being shot with a repeater or rifle. Shotguns have less force. If you don't like shotguns having a low amount of force, let me know
• (IMPROVEMENTS) Improved reactions caused by express bullets. NPC's are a lot weaker and wobble more
• (IMPROVEMENTS) Reworked Gunshot Reactions for the Double Action Revolver
BUG FIXES:
• (BUG FIXES) Fixed an issue where the NPC refused to fall over a fence or any railing when being near it. This is now a lot rarer due to the fact that the movement speed is a lot slower, making it harder to reach near a fence or railing (will improve the movement speed in the next update)
EXCLUSIVE (to the weapons.ymt)
• (EXCLUSIVE) High velocity ammo's force is now drastically reduced
BONUS: Added a new file "Weapons_MP.meta" to substantially reduce compatibility issues on any incompatible mod. Now you will be able to enjoy any mod with W.E.R.O. Just make sure W.E.R.O is always in the bottom of the load order incase any mod does use weapons_mp.meta
And more!
Version V3.0.5
3.0.5 update changelog:
-Updated shotgun reactions (exclusive to W.E.R.O's custom edited weapons.ymt only for the time being until V3.1 comes out)
-Improved a bit of the falling animations (this will be further improved in V3.1)
-Updated No Balancing + No Grabbing On Headshot and No Balancing and wound grabbing on headshot alternative versions reaction. Now they go completely limp like in some action movies except the body motion is a bit more fluid
-Fixed the issue where females don't balance when they get shot
-Fixed the issue where NPC's would still grab their wounds on headshot when an incompatible mod was enabled
-Balancing is improved. Now shooting NPC's in the guts won't result in NPC's falling over immediately. It will happen sometimes, but it's a lot rarer
-Fixed an issue where NPC's would immediately fall when an NPC is on a staircase and they get shot
And more changes. The Snappy Gunshot Reactions alternative version is discontinued for now since I want to combine it together with other alternative versions. Most of the biggest changes (and new alternative versions) will arrive in the V3.1 update. Thank you for your patience yet again and hope you enjoy this first half of the update that was supposed to be delivered on the V3.1 update. Have a great day!
Version 3.0
3.0 Changes (Massive Update):
A month of hard work on this, im very happy that it has arrived. It's one of the biggest updates yet! Go ahead, read the changelog lol
(NEW) - Added reactions for almost every weapon and all ammo types for a lot of variety! Every weapon and ammo type can cause different results like cineastic and brutal reactions. Massive thanks to LMS, Bolmin and Senexis for letting me use their RDOF files! NOTE: If you have Red Dead Offline enabled (which i would recommend), then make sure to drag the contents from the red_dead_offline folder to your lml's red_dead_offline folder. RDOF is the only compatible mod for now and other mod creators who made a mod using weapons.ymt are welcome to make this mod compatible with their mod!
(NEW) - Every body part has their own unique reactions that is implemented for a low amount of weapons for now. Some weapons can cause a RDR 2 original headshot reaction when shot in the head but less stiffened and less exaggerated.
(NEW) - Added a behaviour for the regular arrows where the NPC will try to pull the arrow sometimes
(NEW) - NPC's will now actually burn in horrifying pain instead of die instantly after being shot with a fire arrow or incendiary shotgun ammo
- Now with the new features, you can experience a little bit of everything from the alternative versions in the main version. Some weapons can cause instant drop when shot to the head, some weapons can cause snappy reactions, some ammo types may make the NPC not grab their wound when shot in the head and so on!
- The Shotgun slug ammo can now cause a bit of a more painful reaction and more of a knock than the regular shotgun ammo. Regular shotgun ammo makes the NPC's balance a bit like usual
- Fixed the bug where the NPC would have slidey balancing after pushing them which made them so hard to balance like they were on ice
- Did some small improvements on the falling reactions. Now the character shouldn't flap their arms so fast
- Now the balancing is actually disabled in the "no balancing on headshot" and "no balancing + no grabbing on headshot" alternative versions. NPC's will drop no matter if they are running, walking or standing still
- Improved fistfighting reactions to be a bit more fluid
- Improved global shot reactions with all new ground behaviours. The NPC's will now keep their legs in a sitting pose and move their arms. Some weapons may not make them move their arms
- Fixed impulses for death reactions.
And much more! This update was mostly focused on the gunshot reactions. Before you install this update, ensure that you don't have any mods that use physicstasks.ymt or the weapons.ymt cuz as i said in the beginning, the only mod and the most recommended mod that is compatible is RDOF. Any other mod like Maverick Weapons, 1899 firearms etc is totally incompatible (for now). Next update will extend the variety for all weapons. Enough said, i hope you enjoy this update! Less repetitiviness, the more the replayability, am i right?

Now npc's can sometimes collapse and sometimes balance. NOTE: this only occurs when you are using PDO (overhaul preset)
PS: If you want a realistic configuration then PDO (With the overhaul preset) and ASCB (All Shots Cause Bleedouts) is an awesome combination with my mod :D
And more improvements. Report any bugs if you find any, hope you enjoy the 1.3 update!
Version 1.2
1.2 CHANGES:
(UPDATED) Headshots. Now they only fall, no seizures (MAJORLY IMPROVED) Gunshot reactions. Now the arms fling like in my gta 5 mod (IMPROVED) Death reactions (FIXED) a bug where an npc can slide forever when shot from a horse. This happened when PDO mod was on (IMPROVED) Fistfighting animations. Now they will brace and stay upright more (IMPROVED) Falling and rolling reactions. Now you can sometimes balance and land like in gta 4 (IMPROVED) Rifle and repeater reactions (FIXED) The awful running reaction when you shoot an npc at a running phase. Before, the npc ran like a cartoon character (ADDED) NPC's reactions to different weapons. The npc will also collapse during combat so the npc will not always be in a balancive state (ADDED SUPPORT) LML's mod manager. Install it by reading the instructions if you don't know how to
And more changes and fixes. Pls report any other bugs that you can find. Hope you enjoy the new update!

Ever since GTA 5 was released, the euphoria physics have been a major downgrade compared to games like MP3, GTA IV and RDR 1. RDR 2's euphoria physics have improved a ton, but it still feels very repetitive and rather boring.
This mod brings the feeling of euphoria physics back from RDR 1 and goes further beyond that by adding a lot more complexity and variety to shootouts
If you want to grab other mods along your way such as Playable Sadie Adler or Playable Micah Bell, feel free to check out my brother's mod page which is GJGamingBro. He makes mods not only for RDR 2, but other games as well.
(If you want to download older versions of W.E.R.O, you can get them in mydiscordserver)
FEATURES:
• No Air Restriction when flying super fast during ragdoll & RDR 1 like falling gravity
• Every weapon and ammo type will affect differently on how the NPC will react (WEAPONS.YMT REQUIRED)
• RDR 1 Falling Reactions. Falling behaviors are fluid and flexible, allowing more variety
• RDR 1 like gunshot reactions. NPCs no longer stumble to the same direction and they spin when shot in the shoulder area. They also react dynamically and gunshot reactions are fluid
• RDR 1 Rolling Reactions. No more rigid movements!
• Advanced InjuredOnGround behaviour. The NPC will reach for the exact wound where they have been shot on instead of reaching for the stomach all the time
• More improved and diversified legshot reactions. NPC's will stumble or fall depending on the bullet/weapon (WEAPONS.YMT REQUIRED)
• Improved On Fire behaviors. NPCs stumble in agonizing pain
• Every single shotgun affects differently on how the NPC will react and the NPCs now spin more violently (WEAPONS.YMT REQUIRED)
• Improved behaviors when bailing out of a wagon
• RDR 1 like knockout reactions
• Improved the NPC reactions caused by arrows and added different behaviors to other arrow types (WEAPONS.YMT REQUIRED)
• Alternative versions! Want the deaths feeling more realistic? Want realism mixed with fun? I got you! Versions such as Instant Drop On Headshot and Fall To Knees On Death (or both combined) will give you exactly that!
• Improved explosion behaviors & distance of flight when near an explosion
Compatible with: Ped Damage Overhaul, Red Dead Offline, WhyEm's DLC, 1899 Firearms, WhyEm's BloodLust & basically any mod at this point (excluding mods that use physicstasks.ymt). WILL REQUIRE VERSION.DLL (Lenny's Asi Loader) AND W.E.R.O - AUTOMATIC COMPATIBILITY PATCH, if you have a mod conflicting with W.E.R.O's weapons.ymt file.
A massive thanks to LMS, Bolmin & Senexis for letting me use some of their Red Dead Offline files! Without them, i wouldn't be able to implement different reactions to every weapon and ammo type into this mod
Massive thanks to the following mod authors for letting me add compatibility to their mod/agreeing on a merge: WickedHorseMan WhyEm Maverick
Also huge thanks to AnymYo for a lot of the discoveries made so that I can bring you the most advanced mod to date. A lot of struggle went through making and continuing to make this mod to fit your preferences and to give you more options, so if you like my mod, definitely consider endorsing and perhaps providing feedback and letting me know what you like the most about W.E.R.O. Thanks for downloading! This mod wouldn't be possible without you guys and AnymYo for helping me crack the file and unlock it's full potential! The amount of support you show to this mod definitely means a lot to me and pushes me to continue this project! Thanks again
If you want to, you can:
Join my DISCORD server to stay up to date with latest early update previews and more
Download my wero mod for GTA 5 as well: https://bit.ly/2QZNO6V
For realism, I recommend using the latest Ped Damage Overhaul mod that has added support for euphoria mods and i also recommend using All Shots Cause Bleedouts mod (or any other blood mod like BloodLust by WhyEm or Center Mass by walrus159). Make sure that the EuphoriaModInstalled value is set to 1 in PDO so you can have the best experience possible
and much much more that gives the game a more satisfying feel when killing enemies or falling and rolling
How to install this mod into your game
Just drag and drop the WERO folder in your LML folder. IF the mod doesn't work, make sure you have the latest ScriptHook, ASI Loader by Lenny and a properly installed LML. Make sure you don't have any other mods that have the physicstasks.ymt file.
