Only tested in St.Denis so far but it seems pretty cool. Bronte goons showing up is a nice touch. Though police presence should be a bit higher and once your bounty reaches like $200 bounty hunters should start showing up with dogs.
Actually police presence is pretty decent. Really like how they show up to your last known location so you can actually sneak up on them. Definitely add those bounty hunters with dogs though so it turns into an outright war!
Get wanted in a location and see who comes and how long it takes. It should not be instant like in vanilla. Under Area changes in the summary, it lists things like general response time and the possible dispatched groups for each location.
In vanilla, it takes 30 seconds after being reported outside of town for the law to show up.
Hey im using pna and deletd its dispatch.meta im in new austin as arthur and when i rob the armadillo bat (sgt joe bank robberuies mod) like 30 or more law men spawn is that suppposed to happe occording to your mod or what?
No, it's not supposed to be like that. Response in New Austin is very limited, and would mostly be locals or the occasional gang opportunists trying to take advantage of the chaos. You essentially need to overwrite everything of their conflicting with mines, if you want mines to work properly. Again, any files that touches the files in this mod is not compatible.
Not so sure about "realistic" - had a gun battle with two Lemoyne Raiders, a witness, presumably a passing wagon wasn't anywhere near Rhodes- then the roads were covered with lawmen in about 20 seconds and I was being attacked with deadly intent.
You probably have a conflicting mod. This is the response for Scarlett Meadows:
Little to no law response from the Grays.
The Lemoyne Raiders will come to investigate in the event of a conflict.
Although this version adds a bit more lawmen, timing remains the same based on your distance from the closest town. 20 seconds is too short for the law to show up, vanilla is 30 sec...
Also, this mod does not touch crime information, only dispatch.
That will probably have to be a separate mod since this is strictly on dispatch. I believe there is already an excellent Bounty Hunting Expansion by the great Shtivi!
Great mod, I'm really excited for my next playthrough. I have a question. Which version of your mod would you recommend for the whole game from start to finish? I know you can change between versions by changing the files, but from my experience changing files can get sometimes messy. Which one would be better?
Thanks! I recommend using the original first and when you get to the epilogue, you can just remove the whole file of the original and move this file into lml folder.
Briefly looked at their files, not sure about the ASI file there. For the rest, you can technically overwrite their files with mines if you want my dispatch response as this mod doesn't change any behavior. You would just place my mod in a later load order than theirs.
Love your mods, thanks for another great release! Currently using your original law dispatch - would it be safe to switch to this one once in the epilogue? New to RDR2 modding so not sure if you can just replace files mid-playthrough. Cheers!

See description for a full summary of what's different from the original Rededrunk's Realistic Law Dispatch Response!
Thanks for your work
