This mod increases the limit on how many corpses can be present around the player...what does that have anything to do with chronological correctness? In 1899, only a few dead bodies are allowed??

well, idk, but i think that rockstar did the best to their ability to make the game as accurate to 1899 as possible. So i believe and other people too that If rockstar knew it was more historically true they would do it. and mods are usually not true like the ak47 mod, or rampge trainer. these two togeher mean that its not realistic for 1998

Hey thanks for the insight of this mod. Does anyone know how to make corpses persistant. Sometimes they stay like hours sometimes I turn around and they are gone. Animal carcasses however stay even if I quit the game.
This shouldn't really be happening unless you're leaving the entire area, or like you said quitting and reloading the game. If something else is going on memory wise (like using DX12 instead of Vulkan or version.dll instead of Online Content Unlocker/Multiplayer Asset Enabler, AB Scripthook instead of V2), or a conflicting file, that could be why they're disappearing for you still if it's not the other two reasons. Enhanced Entity and World Persistence. There is this mod and down in the comments someone posted their own version EnhancedPersistence-V2 (you need to compile this one yourself). Then you can also see this thread for someone elses attempt at it. Though, there tends to be a lot of bugs when it comes to making things persistent that shouldn't be. If you fail a mission for instance. The game usually deletes everything and respawns it. All of that stuff from the previous attempt will still be there. I'm only going off of memory using this mod Entity Persistence - Keeps entities persistent! 1.0.1 for GTA V. But I imagine stuff like that is a lot harder to implement then it looks. Many edge cases to consider.

Since I have no Idea how to compile the version 2 (seemingly wit .net but no instructions left) I think it is normal game behaviour. If I ride away a little bit too far they despawn. This is seemingly also happening if there was an "ambient" occurrence and something else is happening afterwards. If I return to the place of the ambient event, the blood pools are still there but the bodies gone, however the "new" bodies of the second event are still there.
I currently use Corpse Spawn Distance mod which I don't think fix this issue. Anyways, I already have a gameconfig.xml file from Unknown Error fix mod, so could you please tell what values did you changed in them that increases the corpse's spawn limit.
Someone could make a mod that, with each shot, Arthur makes the pain animation and paralyzes himself holding his arm or stomach, I don't know why no one has done it yet, critical hits uses ragdoll, but someone can make each shot they give you make the special animation of arthur when he has little life, when only the heart remains and they damage the core directly and arthur is paralyzed when they shoot him, I don't know why rockstar didn't implement something like that basic in the damage
I want this so bad too! As well as bringing in the damage indicators from online so you can see on screen visual damage and actually know which direction u got shot from
