This mod will be PAUSED And CANCELED INDEFINITELY for the reason that it will be merged with the main Mexico mod, I will then continue updating the mod from the MAIN MOD, and all updates from this mod you will reach the main one, thank you very much for the great support you gave to my Frist Project, it is an honor for me to now be able to continue on my own with the complete mod of Mexico Considering the great responsibility that this entails, I will do my best within my knowledge to bring you the ultimate experience to enjoy Mexico in RDR2.
i downloaded the first one and seen this on a later date and thought it was supposed to go over the older one.
im confused as to which i have now that im reinstalling rdr2, it says i downloaded both and i have an unextracted download of this mod on my pc.
FOR THOSE WITH NO WALLS:
This happened to me, turns out I jumped the gun and missed a few things. Keep in mind this assumes you followed the instructions and already downloaded the "!Mexico" mod and have all other prerequisites. Here is what I did to get this mod working:
1) I only added the "!Mexico Expansion Project" folder into the LML folder. However, I then had to copy the "RampageFiles" into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Red Dead Redemption 2\RampageFiles\Spooner folder. This places "NuveoParaiso.xml" in this folder and also in the "AutoLoad" folder right above it. I FORGOT TO DO THIS THE FIRST TIME AND WAS SEEING FLOATING PEDS AND FURNATURE AND NO WALLS.
2) Make sure you delete the old Railroad tracks map located here "RedDeadRedemption2/lml/!Mexico/YMAP/rr.ymap"
3) Rename "Version.dll" to "Version.dll_old) so the game uses the Online Content Unlocker Lite instead of the ASI Loader. (Part of the instructions of things you need to run this mod)
4) If done correctly, when you load into story mode, Rampage will popup two messages saying RockStar Games map loaded successfully and the NuevoParasio map loaded successfully. Buildings and peds should work fine after this. P.S. I was not getting those "loaded successfully" messages prior, since I had not copied the xml rampage files.
