After you download the mod, unzip the two files inside i.e. - 'DialogueBoost.ini' & 'DialogueBoost.asi'
Take the two files and find the folder where you have RDR2 is installed in. take the files and paste in the main directory of your install location. there is a file called "
RDR2.exe" put the mod files next to it (same folder)

also rememeber to make sure you have installed
Scripthook aswell. there is two of those, 1. if you search google, but that is the old one so dont use that one. the one you want is on nexus: THIS ONE HERE

Does this mod essentially raise the "Dialogue Balance" slider over 1?

If so, do you know if that slider (and by extension this mod) affects cutscenes or just in-game voices?

I hate how R* has mixed the audio in that regard. Right now I have SFX turned like down to 60% to try to get a better balance of dialogue and music without hearing insane horse galloping overpowering everything else

This mod is really great, with 1.5 boost settings the dialogue finally sounds as it should!
I did have a lot of game crashes tho and after removing this haven't experienced it anymore. Don't know if that's just me having conflicting mods.

To install: Place the files in your Red Dead Redemption 2 folder next to the exe.

Where do I put the mod files :( I can't see any guide in the description nor in the files and I have no clue. I put it in the main folder with RDR2.exe and it doesn't seem to work

WOW same thing happens in GTA V and Resident Evil; I don't know what's going on with video games audio nowadays

Thanks for the mod, can finally hear dialogue

PS: I didn't notice changes at first but as I turned off Dialogue Balance in the settings; the mod works

What a good mod. The RDR2 dialogue balance never works, but this one solves the problem.

    Can't access menu ingame.

Edit: menu has been removed and mod works great. A demo video would be good as well.
