Just stopped by to let you know that it is indeed possible to acquire the Legend of the East satchel without any real effort or story progression. In fact, I have a rare Chapter 1 save that does just that. Look at the screenshots I uploaded if you're not convinced
Anyway, if you can stomach playing that first Chapter again one last time, you're more than welcome to use my save to upload a true "Chapter 2 no progress" update to this page
The only major downside is that in that save, I ticked off all of the gambler challenges. I really can't fathom why anyone would want to torture themselves on a second playthrough with those, so those challenges are off the table. Any other tweaks I made there can be easily rectified by simply discarding the extra items
Hope this helps you somehow and I wish you another fun crack at this game :D
Can i ask ,why when I do her Strauss mission, when I'm going to put the money in the camp the mission fails says I'm leaving the camp, is there a solution?
Alright first of all, thank you so much. I know you probably don't read these comments or whatever. But trust me, you probably saved so many people with this save, and me included!
I typically used a specific save that started at chapter 2, had all the stuff unlocked and so on. But of course, a lot of the missions were completed, and every side mission he encountered was completed. But of course this save file is different, and it's nice to see someone who has the same mindset that I have when it comes to chapter 2 saves!
