Is there a way to get this effect without it also giving you infinite everything? I want to not have to deal with cores anymore, but this goes beyond that and gives you infinite dead eye, health, and stamina.
Im confused about what you're asking.... If you dont want to deal with cores... well.... health IS a core.... so you want to not have to sleep but can still get shot dead? That... thats not any where in the description of this mod..... so.... what EXACTLY are you even looking for? Your question makes no sense to me....

This question is legit and makes perfect sense, the core is in the center. Edit: even the picture is misleading, the RINGS are depleted but not the CORE.
It truly is a great mod, and still works as even now with the latest rdr2 build. But I do hope if you could make it only the dead eye's core that's not draining, and leave health and stamina's core as it is... could you?
I beg to differ. I find I CAN die and have done so quite a few times. The big issue I have with it is, when that does happen, I get an infinite load screen because I think the game thinks I actually am immortal.
And to anyone reading this, it can cause infinite load screens on loading some parts of certain missions, such as the last of CH. 4 because your core can't be topped out. So just pull the file out, get to the next mission, quit, and put it back in.
The only moments i found that u get stuck on loading screen is a game bug. I started looking for mods after those insta kill bulshit. Scripted events , when you encounter legendary bear and he atks and u dont shoot at the right time , he kills you, game loop. Its not related to mod. As for mod it self, you are unkillable, enemy can shoot at you all day long , cant kill you. Unless its "again" scripted event where you get one shoted by design, then you die.
... Immortal mod makes you immortal and you expected what? Tuna Salad? Avoid using cheats so you can save frequently and this wont be an issue... Some story related cut scenes need you to die so save before a mission and you're fine... any one using mods who knows what they are doing knows to save frequently.... and if you DO use cheats you dont need this mod....
