Where to post a mod request?

A list of places to post a request to create a new mod:

1) NexusMods.
Posting on NexusMods resources.
Unfortunately, NexusMods is currently redesigning its website and forum. So it is now much harder to post and search for messages on the NexusMods forum than it used to be.
Some of the links to forum posts before 2024 have now stopped working. Perhaps they will fix this at some point.

1.1)
The forum thread "IDEAS for new MODS".

1.2)
In the comments under a special image of the same title.

1.3) Effectively communicate with each modder individually and ask them about the possibility of creating the mod you want.
To do this, for example, you can search the NexusMods site for profiles of people who have already made mods for Planetbase and message them directly.

2) GitHub.
Publish messages on GitHub on Planetbase mod pages. Here there is a high probability that a modder will reply to you.

3) "Steam: Planetbase > Workshop > Discussions >"
Publishing messages on the Steam Workshop pages. There is a special section in the Planetbase Game Workshop. Workshop -> Discussions.
However, after Madruga Works started banning modders on the game's Steam resources, modders rarely visit the game's Steam forums.

4) "Steam: Planetbase > Discussions >".
Publish posts in the game's regular Steam forum. Such a post will be seen by many regular players, but the likelihood of modders seeing it is very low.

5) Reddit.
5.1) A special thread on Reddit for the Planetbase game "Reddit SUGGESTIONS THREAD".
There used to be 5 entire threads dedicated to this and in them players left thousands of wishes.
It was a useful and interesting discussion thread, but, for unknown reasons, in 2019 the owners of the reddit dedicated to the Planetbase game deleted all such threads and comments without explanation.

5.2) A separate post on Reddit. Here you will have to describe your wishes in detail.
Modders are here from time to time. But not all and not often.

6) Write a comment under "What would you like to see improved in the game?".
This is a collection and sorted list of requests from players to improve the game and create new mods.
Modders review this place when they are going to create new mods.

The creators of the game, Madruga Works and Martiño Figueroa, have never commented on the players' wish list. They would like to remove this guide and wishes, but fortunately they don't have that authority.

7) Discord.
7.1) "Planetbase" Discord      https://discord.gg/EW47zVn

This Planetbase Discord channel was created by solidDoWant.
solidDoWant
is the person who created back in 2017-2018 the ability to add textures, items, buildings and technology to the Planetbase game using mods.

This Discord channel exists, among other things, for modders to discuss the creation of their new mods.
Also in this Discord you can talk about your idea for a new mod and discuss how difficult it would be to implement.

In all versions of the game to add textures, objects and buildings was and is possible if you use for mods Framework "Planetbase-Framework", "Planetbase Mod Patcher 2" and its add-on "Planetbase Framework JPFarias compatibility layer" created by solidDoWant.

Also, you can communicate with modders who have already managed to add new items/buildings/textures to the Planetbase game, for example, here:

Here are screenshots
with examples of adding new textures, items and buildings to the game.

Tell us about your Planetbase experiences, ideas for improvements and new mods!

A post on Reddit from the Planetbase channel provided the information for this post.
Comments are welcome in both the comments section below and on Reddit.
