FAQ Q: There is an error in the editor A: If you encounter an error with the editor, please submit a bug report via the bug tab. Provide the error that occurs. If you only get a generic error, then press Ctrl+Shift+I and copy the red text in the console tab to the bug report. Thank you!
Q: Does this disable achievements? A: I'm using the editor myself, and it hasn't disabled them for me yet
Q: I only see ids and not names in the editor A: The game folder need to be set in the settings, e. g. "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous". See this article for more information (It's for the Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader, but the same applies for this game).
Any chance for downgrade level button at kingmaker? On that note how i 'properly' downgrade a character to re-level him again. Just lowering his level makes a mess of skills and feats (they aren't removed).
Sounds like what you want is a respec character feature.
The issue is that it has to be manually mapped, the choices you make are registered in the save file, but the automatic feats of each class is not. So to make the feature you want, you basically have to map which those feats are for every class.
I did it for Rogue Trader, and it took a lot of time, and that game has less and much simpler classes (or archetypes as it's called). Also companions has a template connected to them, so it doesn't work perfectly there either.
I am assuming this has already been asked and answered, but I've spent almost an hour skimming the comments and I haven't found anything later than 2021.
So, I see there's an option to copy a blueprint, but is there a way to paste it? Like could I add a bunch of enhancements to a Darkwind dagger, and then generate another dagger that already has the enhancements? Or could I, after just giving myself another Darkwind via ToyBox, paste the enhancements onto the second one?
Thank you for your time, this is an excellent mod.
I can go to the inventory and click the add button, search for "Darkwind" and get the "Darkwind Dagger" in the result. If I then want to edit the enchantments on the dagger then I can do that via the edit button (pen symbol).
If I then want to duplicate the dagger, then I can simply change the stack column to 2 to have 2 daggers with the same enchants.
Also all searches in the editor recognize blueprint identifiers and will show the matching item, feat, enchant etc.
Just make sure you have configured the game folder in the settings so that the editor finds all the items in the game, otherwise it gets a lot harder.
I managed to build it myself via github actions. I noticed they had a macos runner that was available. Though I am unable to verify it since I don't own a mac.
For now I've uploaded an experimental version for the Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader editor. That editor can also open Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous save files, so you can test it out if you'd like https://www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kroguetrader/mods/40?tab=files
Go to the settings tab and the Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous tab and set the game folder. Then the editor will load the mappings from the game installation
Worked well (took me a sec to remember to append .app at the end of Wrath.app in the path dialog tree)... except for Feats! I get a full list on the "Add Feat from List" dialog, but the ones that my characters have are still jumbled code. Any idea why this might be?
All other strings were populated, it's just Feats that isn't working.
EDIT: SPECIFICALLY "Features". Everything else in Facts works.
The Add Feat from List feature isn't working, but Importing Code does. Couldn't find a way to set a level for imported feats (wanted to "respec" some stuff without changing difficulty, not just add stuff.).
Wonder if Hilor's respec option could be enabled somehow...
When I add enchantments to an item (longbow or dagger) it appears in the editor and when I first look in the in-game inventory. However, when I equip the item all my additions are stripped and the item is as it was before my additions. Any ideas on how to get this to work? Thanks
What enchants are you trying to add? Where are you in the game?
Note some enchants are added, but not visible, and some enchants might be rejected by the game. But generic enchantments that can appear on any weapon usually works.
Increasing enchantment level, Axiomatic, Bane everything, Holy are examples that work
Thanks to you I got this to work! If I added any enchant to an already named weapon eg 'Axiomatic Longbow' - all the added enchants would be stripped If I added enchants to an unnamed, plain weapon ie 'Longbow' the enchants stick :)
Note: adding enchants does not change the gold piece value of the item so, an overpowered longbow is still the same value as a bare longbow

Haven't been able to reproduce the issue with my save games, I did add a check in the Pathfinder part of my new editor for Warhammer. You could try and download that editor and load the game with it and see if it works better there.
Probably the only way, as far as I can tell everything works when I try it. Going away over the holiday though, so gonna take some time until I can check everything
It's a standalone program that's running beside the game. In theory you should never need to update it even if Owlcat releases a new version. There are a few things that requires a new version, and it should only be cosmetics, like new portraits added to the game.
So you should be safe with whatever version you're using
The long answer: Haven't been in the game for a while, but it should work with all future versions of the game. Owlcat would need to do some serious breaking changes with the game files for it to stop working.
Since it reads the game files for feats and items it should even have the new feats and items that would come with updates and DLCs without me releasing a new version.
can anyone tell me how to add the Summit Mask from Nenio's quest to my inventory, I broke the lock on this chest at the beginning of the game along with the mask?

Right now there are no plans for it

Looked into Settings, about, even the help menu. No version numbers anywhere.
Would be nice so that I can tell if I need to update.
Had to go into Add/remove programs to find the version.
