I am getting a hard crash when clicking on any item to use. Version 0.27.8 UMM and latest Quickcast file. Any ideas on why? I'd really love to use this mod :)
I found the issue. It was a conflict between Toybox and Quickcast. Specifically the option to Refill items automatically in the Item bar. (Which isn't necessarily needed due to Quickcast functionality)
I had a feeling this was causing the crash and I'm glad to have managed to troubleshoot it down to that particular option.

Edit - I feel like an Idiot, I don't know how I missed the glaring red text on the description page.
Any way to make the window taller, so I can see more spells at one time? Expanding the window just scales everything up. Also, not a big deal, but the text for spell description popups is blurry on my screen.
Is there a way to change the maximize direction? Right now the window will maximize outward all around so if you put it in a corner then expand it, it will clip with the screen.
So a good setting is: "Direction of maximize", so if I put it on the left corner it will maximize from the left corner of the window into the top right direction.
Also prevent the window from maximize when moving the minimized window is a good change too.
Another thing is, if you double click quickly the minimized window, it will disappear.
I installed this mod, can see all my spells\drag\minimize\change size of window, but when i click any spells or scrolls nothing happen, 2.1.0u version of the game=(
Love the mod but the game micro freezes when i click select all party members. Just using your mod, nothing else. I remove the mod and it doesn't do it. Can you test this out?
Yeah it got fixed...for a bit. Now when I quicksave, then reload, it starts doing it again. Never did it before till not long ago and the Kingmaker one never had this problem. I'm in no way bitching, just letting you know. And besides, i NEED this thing. Without it it just feels like cheating enabling use items from inventory during combat with toybox. So yeah, it was fixed for a little bit, now doing it again after a quicksave then loading back in. If you take the time to fix, i'll def let you know if it's fixed. I've actually reinstalled and redid UMM and all of that. Even changed drives. Nadda.
Only during select all? Not selecting a single character or changing characters? If we can somehow get together so I can get your save and entire mod list. Discord would be preferable.
Yeah only on select all. I can click select all continually and micro stutter the game non-stop. I have a savegame i created that duplicated the microstutter. And 2 screenshots of mods i use, but I disabled all mods and only used quickcast and it did it so. Anyway, can I send the 2 screenshots and the savegame thru email to you? This savegame is definatly doing it with mods shown enabled in the screenshots. If need be, I can OBS record it and put it on Youtube and link it to ya.
Tada! Not only is it fixed, but I didnt mention it was also making me lose like 15fps. Now that's fixed along with the micro-stutter. Something was def wonky with your mod, wish i knew something about making mods or i'd ask what was wrong. I won't cause I have never made a mod and wouldn't know what you were saying =-). Basically, the game destroys all UI objects when you change areas or reload a save. Those UI objects were subscribed to listen for events to happen, like changing characters. Well I needed to unsubscribe them before they are destroyed. I thought it was happening automatically but that was not the case. Each time there was a reload it compounded. So instead of one event firing it would fire multiple times (like a lot, a lot). The actions taken during those events are pretty intensive like ensuring the list is up to date and turning off/on objects. When that happens 40 times instead of once you'll get a lot of slow down... So that's the jist of what was wrong.
That makes sense. I've created some adventures back in the day with the gold box SSI Unlimited Adventures on pc so I do have a bit of knowledge. I so appreciate the fixes and I hope others that had the same problem had theirs fixed. hopefully they saw all the new versions available.

Hey friend, the mod is always maximized open when done loading into new area...or just loading into game. Gotta minimize it everytime. That on purpose? Btw, I love your mod regardless. so much easier, just like the kingmaker one. Anyway I hope i'm not the only one with this problem. Cheers
