I give this mod a try. I just finish troll trouble and it seems to me that this mod has lower difficulty than Kingmaker AI. AI seems to not prebuff enough.

I take it back, other areas after troll trouble is brutal.

The installation guide is kind of confusing to me.
If I download the zip, I could skip steps 1 and 2, and jump right into step 4 and step 3, right?

    • Build it using Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition and put files into a folder called TweakMod
    • Download JMMT (which is included in releases and can also be found here: https://github.com/Jarinex/JMMTBeta)
    • Run the game
    • If downloading zip, just drag to the mods folder and extract

Even with Proper Flanking 2, Kingmaker AI, and Stolen Land Encounters, some of the old cheese strategies still apply:

-Aggro enemy that prebuffs/buffs immediately when combat starts.

-Leave the map and take an 8 hour nap.

-Return and kill it with the Heart of Ira without aggroing it because its buffs (like True Seeing) will be gone.

Worked for me with the Pensive Lich in the Barrow.  But I had to figure it out.  Alleluia!

I mean, I intended for you to not cheese it.

But if that’s how you want to do it I’m not going to stop you.

So do you encounter any problem with both AI and Encounter mods?

Reading through the comment sections, my understanding of the mod is below:
1: The mod is not compatible with AI mod and author suggest to play with this mod without AI mod.
2: The mod has prebuff and some ability tweak
3: The mod do not change the AI into target lower AC and  low save character, so pure tank and DPS build still work in this mod.

Hey buddy, just letting you know - Version 1.0 breaks the Equipment/Override/Transmog Sliders section of Visual Adjustments. Took me three days of troubleshooting to find the culprit. I've reverted back to 0.9b/the previous penultimate version for now. I hope you come around to work out a fix. At any rate, awesome mod, i just need to stop myself from constantly restarting to really take advantage of it.

Looks like a great mod! The sample picture seems personally tailored to me!

I have a quick question though: On the mod page it says you haven't done BTSL, but in the comments it sounds like you have.
So I was wondering what's the current situation with BTSL and this mod? I haven't done a proper BTSL playthrough yet so I was wondering if I should experience it unmodded first.

I only did one change with BTSL and it was the final boss (and it was fairly minor). I don’t know if he shows up in non campaign runs. If the BTSL uses blueprints from an enemy I’ve changed, then you’ll see a difference. If not, then it may be untouched.

Installation descriptions are bit unclear for me:
    DO I have to?   :
    1. download and install this mod with Unity mod manager
    2. download and install COTW by Holic75  (is it really needed because I don´t want to have any other classes)
    3. download and install JMMT   (how to isntall it? with Unity mod manager?

    Is it all pls?

COTW is required to play. The mod will not load without it.

Same goes for JMMT. This changes enemies in the game and without it there can be some problems.

You can drag on drop the files into the mod folder that UMM makes, but you need both the main folder and jmmt (which is included in the download).

    @Jarinex
What crossmod difficulties did you experience/expect with Kingmaker AI from Holic?

To be honest, I'm not really sure what the issue is. In previous versions of Kingmaker AI both seemed to be compatible. However, recently some kind of error shows up in the output logs. I tested my mod and it loads fine, it just seems to be something doesn't load with Kingmaker AI.

Just to be safe, I suggested not to use it, but you can see if it works. I just didn't balance my mod with proper flanking or kingmaker AI in mind, so be aware of that.

Man, I get party wiped constantly ... that's why it feels really good when I finally succeed.
I'm new to this game but also played BGS 1,2 SCS Ascension. This mod makes You think! If anyone has trouble that "inspect" icon (and related skills) is one of the most usefull things in the UI - knowing Your own and enemies weaknesses and strenghts is crucial, with Call of the Wild most of the spells are somewhat usefull, even low level ones.
I can't recommend this mod enough in the original game once You hit certain levels most mobs get steamrolled constantly with this installed it's not always the case.

Hey I'm glad you (currently) like it! These comments make it worth the effort. Let's hope that feeling doesn't change as you get farther in the game!
