Working hard on AKE V13.0 which has its focus on new resources for the fort and dungeons.
In this vid I'm using NifSkope to place different textures on default meshes for some black icy caves that might be interesting :wink:
Still learning of course and when I first did this with Brittany's blue rock textures for my ice dungeon I just followed the lead given by bethesda ...
Issue I found with this is that they made 4 "cavemesh[A,B,C,D]" which only differ from each other in their orientation so I used these to make different textures on each in my blue caves, see the beginning of the vid ...
Thinking this over in V13 I use only the A form to give different textures to the [B,C,D] so they all have the same orientation which makes them much easier to replace [1:20 ,5:20 ] ...
This all works fine while building a new cave but if you want to replace existing meshes in a cave with these new ones you have the orientation problem that "meshes up" your cave so before replacing you must prepare it by - one for one - replacing every "cavemesh[B,C,D]" with "cavemesh[A]" and fix the problem by rotating "cavemesh[A]" and @ [5:20 ,7:10 ] I'm showing the result for the Argodiil Crystal Cave ...
Problem I'm having now is that I forgot some of the old meshes - now overwritten by the new ones - were used in other caves so - before V13 launch at "sinterklaas" night 6 december - I have to deal with them "one by one", as shown @ [7:50 , the End] :ermm:
