Months in the making, I'm very proud to share the final major update for MOFAM Oblivion.
This truly encompasses everything for a broad & stable experience, with the benefits of 03.25 (building on the series of user-feedback & fixes from the 2nd half of 2024) introducing some wonderful additions that will last you for years.
I'll be migrating back to my Fallout projects, so now's a great time to either revisit or jump in to what I hope you'll agree is the best modern experience for this near-20 old gem.
Kudos to Durbinh, AsteriaSennall & Saldron for the collaboration on 03.25. Enjoy!
Changelog too large for a Nexus post! (Article has been updated)
Is there any vampire overhaul mod that pairs good with this modlist? A good overhaul for vampirism is really the only thing that is really missing from the list.
Take a look in xEdit & run conflicts to give you a good idea. Or hop on discord when durbin or Masterlix are on, as they spent hours in this build in xEdit & might have even tried that mod. I haven't tried it at all myself
Hi guys, great modding guide, I'm trying to do it by the letter. So far so good, but maybe I'm just stupid, but I got stuck at step 24. I installed Colourful Clothing, did the BAE thing and now I should go back to step 9 to do some OOO Enhanced tweaks. OOO Enhanced have no conflict files so I guess the guide means to open OOO Enhanced - Resources. I see 1161 Losing file conflicts, but I have no idea which files to hide. It says select Providing Mod, but that just changes alphabetical order of files. I don't see any 'AI Enhanced - Colourful Clothing - Upperclass + Middleclass' so I don't know how many files I should hide. Same goes for Colourful Clothing. Lots of files in winning conflict, but which are Waalx? No clue. Any help appreciated, sorry for my english. Another question, what do do with empty mod TES4Edit Cache, it is still in section 1 from the beggining, will it sort out later? Thx
Okay I figured out part of it. Turns out I have to install another two mods listed BELOW Reminder to go back to step 9. This is confusing. Now I see AI Enhanced Colourful blah blah files and I can hide them all. But in Colourful Clothing I don't see any Waalx's files. I can see 913 winning conflicts overwritten mods, but they are all OOO Enhanced. Help please.
Hi there & you're on the right track. I even had reinstall OOO Enhanced & other mods during that part so I caught it the second time through. At work rn but will check back later. Feel free to hop on our discord too & see if anyone is on.
Well, this will sound dumb, but I'm an old dog and checking FB once a month is my greatest achievement in social networks :) I have no idea what Discord is or how to use it. Anyway I try to learn new things, I accepted invitation, I guess I'm in it now, bun no idea what to do, how to see who is on and how to chat with someone. All I managed is to write Hi :) Anyway Masterflix if in your advice you mean to ensure to have Enable archives parsing in workarounds tab selected, I do. I triple checked that, also checked if I have correctly done all steps in Oscuro overhaul and in WAC overhaul. It all seems done right. As I said I managed to hide losing files in OOO-Resources connected to AI Enhanced etc. mod. I can see winning files there that are associated with WAC, but guide says to do this for Colourful clothing mod, not OOO Resources. And I dont see any WAC files there, the only Overwritten Mods winning files are associated with OOO - Resources mod.
Ahhhh, turns out I just dont understand text I read. So sentence "Perform this for Colourful Clothing - Collection - Seamless OCOv2" means I should hide AI Enhanced losing files both in OOO Resources AND in Colourful Clothing and after hide winning WAC files back in OOO Resorces. I would never figured it out by myself. Thanks for your help durbinh.
Oh I'm on the next bug already and I can't figure it out. Even with FormID finder. I have a purple Greater Staff of Fatigue. I think it might have something to do with OOO Enhanced but I'm not sure.
On another note. Both "add some flavor files" of this list are set to hidden. And believe me it was not fun to get the direct links to those mods. I actually had to extract a wabbajack modlist file and dump the the direct links from there to get them. I'm not sure if those mods are coming back to be downloaded from its normal mod page.
This guide just had a huge update and Masterlix went over all links at that time so not sure about the add some flavor links
I also got black boxes where Khajits have their whiskers...
You probably didn't hide the correct files in Part 7 for khajitt as no one else has mentioned that, and I sure don't have the issue. Try our discord and talk to durbin if you can't figure it out. He spent a lot of time with Part 7 and I can bet this is a self inflicted wound First make a save where the whisker issue is and verify Part 7 installation paying careful attention to the hidden files in "OCOv2 Enhanced Beast Races patch"
I fixed the OOO Enhanced error. I had both meshes and texture folders archived in the BSA. Now it seems to work. The beast race thing I'll still trying to figure out. The bug seem common enough though. I did some googling and other people seem to have it too. Maybe I'll join the discord If I really can fix it myself.
I hope someone responds fast, whenever I try to use MO2 to install J3 Atlassed VWD 2 - Cyrodiil - BAIN installer, my MO2 crashes. I have no idea what to do
We try and you can always try our discord and see if anyone's on! Just tried my J3 again and didn't have any problems. You select "Performance - no rocks" then "next" and finally "install" You might try disabling any anti virus or malware scanners as they can interfere sometimes. I tried it twice and it installed both times. Re-download the mod since downloads can corrupt at rare times too.
Late here...will check in tomorrow and see if you got it. Don't forget our discord just in case
Edit: well I responded fairly quickly and still haven't heard from you lol
I posted this in De Rerum DiRennnis page, but ill ask here in case anyone has run into this issue.
One snag I'm running into is the skyrim alchemy feature of De Rerum showing all ingredient effects right away. My guess is that it's a conflicting mod so I'm not saying it's a bug with De. Only trying to troubleshoot.
Only asking if anyone else has run into the issue.
ofc I can use vanilla feature still, so its not game breaking.
Was given a tip on that page to check UI mods as a poss cause. I'm Using the ones list on this guide so perhaps others have seen the bug. If Not I'll try a process of elimination. (Not at all saying its this guide either. In fact I'm sure it's likely not. You all do a incredible job making this!) Something on my end prob Thank you
Hey nemesis! I haven't myself yet, as I have limited time to play/mod, but that question is best suited for durbin on our discord. If anyone can answer you, he might could...and of course Masterlix if he is on.
Hey, all! Somewhat new to Oblivion modding and it’s a bit intimidating. Currently on part 13 of the updated guide and I’ve been following word for word.
May I have the discord link just in case I run into any problems?
P.S. based off the comments, you guys all seem very knowledgeable and friendly and that’s quite encouraging for me, lol.
Hiya "somewhat new to Oblivion modding" & welcome! Here's a BIG secret... We were all new once The list is daunting at first, but if you pay attention to detail, I think you will be well pleased. Discord server is linked on the description page for you. Have fun!
Just noting that GBR's landscape mod in part 11 isn't packaged correctly, so when you say "delete the textures folder", there isn't one unless we create one (which is what I did of course
Might need to add to the instructions? (or am I truly blind lol)

A massive thank you back to everyone endorsing & enjoying my projects.
See you there!

e.g. Would this one compatible with the list?
Nekhanimals Awesome Vampire Mod - EASY MODE - ESP Replacer
I remember using it in the past when playing Oblivion.

Glad durbin helped you out... He's a great one to ask.
Is there a way to find out what those are and maybe add them back in?
Did you read the Notes? Make sure to manually rename the bsa to 'All Natural - Real Lights'!
There is FormID Finder....useful for just this kind of thing.

Hop on there and see who's light is on ;)
Sadly https://tesall.club Seems to be no more. Unless there is a new site or they moved, I cannot connect.
tbf I already have nearly all of them so just fyi for anyone.
I left you a message on FO3 MOFAM of how I did the navmeshes, but you might not have seen it!
I haven't checked it yet but I will now! Ty.
As for KatKat ill look and see if I'm missing anything important. Think I have nearly all, but we'll see
I also have a few backed up if needed!
May I have the discord link just in case I run into any problems?

Edit: I removed this....mine does indeed say "invalid"
Might need to add to the instructions? (or am I truly blind lol)
What a nice update indeed....THE GATES ARE GONNA LOOK BETTER LOLOL Wow what an old eyesore fixed at last.
Yet it isn't mentioned in the recent changelog. Might be something to look into if that was unintentional :)
Are there other changes in the instructions that aren't mentioned in the changelog I need to look out for when updating my modlist?
