They can be downloaded here: AI Voices for Nekhanimals Awesome Vampire Mod

    3/10/2025:
There are three final things I'd like to fix before I consider this mod complete. If anyone can provide scripting help to get this things fixed, I'd be greatly appreciative. The only reason why I'm posting these points here is because I have yet to find help fixing these things:

    1. The animation that plays when corpse feeding only seems to happen about 20% of the time or less. It usually plays upon the first time that you try corpse feeding, then rarely seems to happen ever again, at least for me. The most I typically get is just the game switching to 3rd person view every time I use the ability on a corpse. I'd like to revise the scripts attached to this ability to so that it more reliably happens.

    2. The Chronoshift ability seems to have terrible range. SUPPOSEDLY it improves as you level up Mysticism, but I've directly messed with the values in the script for the ability and saw no change. It only seems to reach as far as the vanilla reach for activating items/actors/activators. I'd like to improve the script so that the ability naturally has decent range and only improves from there.

    3. I'd like to make the Arial Horror move fire more reliably. Sometimes it just doesn't want to fire, and as of update 3.1, I feel like it seems to fire even less, probably due setghost 1 being used on the Imp flight form in 3.1. The script works by moving an invisible activator to the Imp when the cast button is pressed, and casting a spell at whatever actor the Imp is trying to engage in combat that's within the player's line of sight. I'd like to change this to something that doesn't take the Imp into account at all. Setghost 1 generally discourages the actor its being used on from entering combat, so trying to pick a target based off of whoever the Imp wants to fight isn't going to reliably work, since the Imp most likely isn't trying to fight anyone while in ghost state. If the script could be rewritten to somehow cast spells at any hostile target within the player's line of sight, that'd be cool. Something like "If an actor is within player's line of sight & is trying to attack the player, cast spell at the actor".

Could you add the feature having sun damage all all levels?

    Thank you.

Sun damage on all levels of hunger?

If constant sun damage is what you seek, I recommend using the original version of the mod: Nekhanimals Awesome Vampire Mod

From what I understand, this mod fixes some bugs with the other mod.  I was hoping for best of both worlds.

      Thank you, regardless.

Last time I tested the ancient vampire potion I did not crash. I did not test it while working on this mod's most recent updates, because I did not change anything regarding the potion. When I get the chance, I will test the potion again.

I just tested it out and did not experience this issue. I drank the potion while hungry at blood potency 174 and hungry successfully transformed. I also tried drinking it while NOT hungry and at blood potency 174 and received the "I won't drink this yet" message. I also tried drinking it while hungry and while NOT hungry at blood potency level 131 and received the "I won't drink this yet" message. I have experienced no crashes. I don't think that this would be a mod compatibility issue with something else, as the Ancient Vampire potion's script only touches other things in this mod. At this point I do not know what could be causing your game to crash while doing this. You don't use any other vampire mods, do you?

Sorry for the  late response, haven’t played for a a little bit. I don’t use any other vampire mods, my best guess is probably another mod I disabled earlier that affected this mod.

I had Nekhanimals running for a bit and found fledgling vampires just a bit too annoying (8 hours before needing to feed but can only feed on sleeping targets is very questionable.)
I have since installed this and the time changes seem to be working but I am still unable to feed on corpses or in combat, are they supposed to be a spell or am I missing a hotkey?

Please refer to the below note from the description of this mod. Your abilities only update when you advance to the next level of vampirism. If you are a fledgling, you won't get any new abilities until you level up to caitiff.

"**IF INSTALLING/UPDATING DURING AN IN PROGRESS GAME**
If you are already a vampire and also using the original version of Nekhanimals Awesome Vampire Mod, some of the above changes will not take effect until you level up to the next age of vampirism. Abilities and factors are added/updated every time you level up to the next age.
For example: If you are already a fledgling vampire (level 1), you will not receive the Violent Feed ability until you age up to Caitiff (level 25).
This also applies to vampire hunger:
If you are already a fledgling vampire (level 1), your hunger will not slow down from 8 hours to 12 until you age up to Caitiff (level 25).
      - The changes made to vampiric senses will take place once vampiric senses are turned off. So if they are already off in your save, toggle them on, then off again, and the changes will take place.
      - Changes made to the shield value for well fed will take effect once your character becomes hungry and returns to well fed.
      - Changes made to nighttime/daytime regen abilities will update once the game changes from day to night, or night to day.
      - Changes to Antediluvian shield will only take place if you type in the console: player.removespell XX0020B3. The ability will be immediately re-added upon removal with updated shield values.
      - Changes to reflect damage/reflect spell may become stuck on your character if you are already Elder, Ancient, or Antediluvian. To remedy this, I recommend installing Stats Checker to see your Reflect Damage/Reflect Spell values. Remove all equipment from your character that has Reflect effects applied and then check your stats. If it is still listing that you have positive Reflect Damage/Reflect Spell stats, type in your console: player.setavc 59 -(Reflect Damage number) & player.setavc 53 -(Reflect Spell number) "

Do I have to install the shader esp of the OG mod too?

I'd also like to know if this mod is compatible with this mod list: MOFAM - An Advanced Guide and Modlist for Oblivion
It's a quite complicated list so I'm not sure.

Do you mean "NekhanimalLofeDetect.esp"? No. That is not required to use either mod my or the original version.

This mod is compatible with MOFAM because MOFAM has no vampire overhaul mods in its list

I looked at it in xEdit. I'd say it's partly compatible. It overwrites records for Lord Leviticus and a mod that gives unique items to unique people. It also makes minor changes to some potion mod and The Lost Spires, but those are superficial.
I made a simple patch and it seems to work so far.

The conflict with Lord Lovidicus makes sense.
Potion mod? I assume because this mod and that one both edit the Human Blood potion?
May you please clarify what the conflicts are between this mod and The Lost Spires?

At this moment I have no interest in playing the Oblivion remake. I'm too invested in modding the original Oblivion and am not ready to leave it all behind.

is there a command or something that i can type to advance me the the next vampire level then take me back to being a fledgling again? just so i can force the updated script changes?

You can use the below to advance to the next vampire age, but you can't easily revert back to fledgling. You can set the number back but the abilities youd have to use console commands to remove one by one and replace.

Increasing Blood Points in console -Write the following lines in console:set vampire.ishungry to 1set pcvampire to 2set vampire.canage to 1set vampire.vampireage to(the blood points you want MINUS one)Then exit console, wait 5seconds, reenter and write this:set mjavampirefed to 1.

From the readme for the original version of Nekhanimal's Awesome Vampire Mod:

Increasing Blood Points in console -
Write the following lines in console:
      set vampire.ishungry to 1
      set pcvampire to 2
      set vampire.canage to 1
set vampire.vampireage to(the blood points you want MINUS one)
Then exit console, wait 5seconds, reenter and write this:
      set mjavampirefed to 1.

    Hello,

My game is crashing consistently on levelling up to level 55 as a vampire. I've tried various ways around it and nothing works.

Has anyone else had this issue ?

Lots of balancing stuff, and a huge fix for a flying bug. Lets hope I can figure out how to fix the three points listed in my pinned comment, then I feel there won't be anything left to fix or improve.

      Yeah. By rewriting the scripts.
