I uploaded two new versions, one to go with vanilla loading screens and one to go with DarkUI. The existing files were reuploaded for the current readme as well as more clear file names. Other than that, the files did not change - there is no need to redownload if you are already using it.
The vanilla ones were tricky but I am quite happy with them. Unfortunatley, some of the pictures were really not made to be cut out and used with that effect. Some are too dark and some just show nothing interesting at all in the center. Once MOO reaches version 5.0, I have plans to update this again, as I assume there will be new mechanics to talk about. I will then try to replace some of the pictures with more fitting ones that work with all versions - looking at you, random dark landscape shots and bandits with cut-off heads.
You'd want to use MOO Loading Screens - New Pics DarkUI Style I think, but your chances of actually seeing them will probably be low, as the other mod adds 2000 loading screens already.
Hey, I would love to be able to read those loading screens but the game loads to fast. Only the first savegame I load after starting up Oblivion is a bit slower and readable. So I was thinking if there is a way to load the game but staying in the loadscreen until a button is pressed?? But I can't find that.
Otherwise I was thinking of taking away all the vanilla loading screens. Is there an easy way to do so? => Construcion kit, load oblivion esm and delete all loading screens? I'm not realy familiar with the construction kit..
Play around with the value iMoveBarWaitingMilliseconds=10 in the Oblivion.ini I'm talking high values here. For example 20000 should give you enough time to read a small paragraph while loading.
Nothing is really needed. There are only 2 versions of the esp, one that takes new pictures, and one that uses vanilla pictures. And then there are a lot of different designs to match the loading screen replacers that exist. You can use whatever you want, but it will look strange if you download a version that doesn't match your other replacers.
Very nice - it mentions a lot of things I didn't know, so thanks for that.
One small complaint, though - in DarkUI load screens, the bottom 1/4 of the screen is supposed to be whited out so the text is easier to read: see here for an example: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/38216. If you could fix that, it would be awesome. Endorsed regardless.
But there is no DarkUI version? :D For the Themed version, the text is supposed to be below, like on screenshots on this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44653 The text on my example picture is too dark, because I really didn't want to mess up my UI for one screenshot.
Vanilla style DarkUI has a completely different size, so would be another completely different version. I found a template for that, so I might give it a try soon™.
Question regarding using Xedit to remove loading screens, I assume it is as simple as launching TES4Edit, loading plugin, opening it and scrolling through the list and removing those undesired? I ask incase there should be some precautions to have that could mess things up.
Oooh, this looks really nice~ I'd like to try it, but I don't think it works with OA_Dark Transparent UI, does it? If possible, will you add a compatibility patch for it in the future?
The vanilla version should work with the small loading screens it brings, but will not bring new graphics. For a themed version I'm gonna need permission to use the border.
Good news, I got permission :D I will upload a version for OA_Dark Transparent UI soon™ (Later today or tomorrow, probably).
I also should maybe clarify: MOO Loading Screens Vanilla would work with OA_Dark Transparent UI without their themed loading screens. If you use OA_Dark Transparent UI's themed loading screens, the xml wouldn't match and the text would sit below the pic.

How can I use this without it replacing my existent loading screen adding mods?
Thank you

Preview.
If I find something to keep me entertained while my crap pc runs the actions I'll update for those 2 versions in the next days :D

Thank you so much for this mod!
