does this conflict with Av Latta Magicka perhaps? I'm getting some weird visuals on weakness to fire enchants. A residual red smoke artifact that persists after hitting, sometimes it even crashes on hit. Also some of the effects dont seem to be showing. Fire enchant is just a hardly noticeable hue change on some edges on the weapon, no particles
If you get Chillrend and it has red sparkles for an effect, it's because of this mod. This mod adds an effect to destruction enchantments, and the vanilla Weakness to Frost enchantment uses the destruction effect instead of frost for some reason. This mod forgot to change the enchantment effect on Weakness to Frost to not use destruction effects and instead use frost. The same red sparkles will be on all weapons with Weakness to Frost effects.
You have to go into TES4Edit and change the effects of: Weakness to Frost [MGEF:000018A8] Effect Shader to: effectFrostDamage [EFSH:0008982B] Enchant Effect to:effectEnchantFrostDamage [EFSH:00061514]
Or even better if you know your way around xEdit, use the effect from Magic Visuals Overhaul... it's frosty.
This one doesn't touch arrows. You can use Magical Arrows and/or Magic Visual Overhaul for those. Magical Arrows only does arrows, where Magic Visual Overhaul adds effect visuals to both arrows and spells. They can also be used together, as Magical Arrows will include other things such as light sources from arrows.
The "ball" of the vulnerability spells are too difficult to see. Could you please enhance themn( bigger, or with a bigger/more visible trainee, as done in Magic Visuals Overhaul ?
There shouldn't be an issue uninstalling, but any compatibility issues you have with this can be alleviated by loading this early in your load order, so that any other mod will overwrite this mod's changes.
I think it was more of a limitation than an intention. I had an idea to minimize/remove it, It's just been so low on my priority list that I forget about it, so any next version I upload of this or the other magic mod of mine will probably address that in some way.
It's a custom one along with some modified OR shaders. I couldn't ever get quite what I wanted without using both. I'll probably upload both soon once finals are over next week.
Excellent mod, I'm particularly impressed by the fire and shock effect I think those look really awesome. Btw can you tell me what sword mods you're using in your screenshots? Thanks a whole lot!
Thanks I'm hoping in the next few days to release a similar mod that enhances a lot of ranged spells in a similar way once I finish touching up stuff. I've got some images here https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/images/171552
The swords are from Classic Sword Replacers: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/11451 and if you want the shortswords and daggers in this style as well there is also this one as well https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47041?tab=description
