About this mod

This will change magic and enchantment effects to be more ENB friendly, as well as adding diversity to effects.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
I made this for personal use after being irritated with magic and enchantment effects being blinding when using ENBs with lots of bloom. This changes magic particles to be very small, and adds different effects for spells such as charm, frenzy, calm, silence, weaken, etc instead of them all using the same "illusion" or "destruction" effect. Fire/frost/shock area attacks will also no longer have a blinding texture taking up the whole screen, in favor of a much more subtle explosion.

This also changes enchantments to be more visually impressive and diverse as well. Fire enchantments will have small flames coming out of the weapon, frost enchantments will have the weapon slowly freezing/thawing visually as well as small frost flakes falling off of it, and shock enchantments will have the weapon occasionally have a lightning bolt streak across it, and have static/spark effects down the blade. This also adds different effects for enchantments such as frenzy, silence, disintegrate weapon/armor, etc. The absorb effect is also slightly different for health, magic, and fatigue instead of it being the exact same effect.

This isn't entirely complete yet, but all of the magic effects have been changed, and the majority of spells and enchantments have a custom effects now. I plan on giving each spell and enchantment a completely custom effect at some point.

I've packaged it to be compatible with BAIN. Consider this a beta verson.

Recommended for better fire textures: Improved Fires and Flames

LAME COMPATIBILITY:

If using LAME load this after bgMagicEVShader.esp, or if you have merged it into your bashed patch, load it after the bashed patch.
bgMagicEVShader.esp will overwrite some of these effects if loaded after it.

INSTALLATION:

This is packaged to be BAIN compatible, but if you install manually just merge the "data" folder in this .rar with the "data" folder in your oblivion folder.

To uninstall, just remove the files added by the .rar.

If the mod doesn't seem to be working, make sure you have archive invalidation setup correctly.
