HUD Compass Vanish
-----------------------

Author: Lametrie
Version 1.0
Date: 4. juni 2010

A TES 4 Oblivion mod

----------------
Description
----------------

Short:

Makes the compass in the Oblivion default HUD vanish.

Long:

This makes the vanilla HUD compass vanish. Had to find another way to do it here and found a simple trick: renamed the compass related dds-pictures. As they do not exist, nothing is showe, the compass vanishes :-)
In that way, other displays as the level up marker can vanish... There is an optional archive that has the vanilla HUD xml in it.

---------------
Installing
---------------

Install:

1) Download the file, open Oblivion Mod Manager (OMM), click 'create' and 'add archive'.
2) Add the downloaded archive, type 'yes' when asked to import OMOD conversion data and
then 'create omod'.
3) Activate the file(s), close OMM and play :)

4) If you want, you can install the archive manually by extracting it into your
Oblivion/Data folder or use other Mod Managers.

Delete:

Deactivate in the Oblivion Mod Manager. If you want to get rid of it completely, delete it in OMM.

If installed manually delete the installed files (se in the rar-archive for names and locations).

-----------------------
History and files:
-----------------------

1.0 - initial release (4.6.10)

---

Mainfile: Compass Vanish 1.0.7z - This is the OMM ready archive with the Mainfile 1.0 by 4.6.2010.

Optional file: VanillaHUDbackup.7z - The original HUD xml. Extract the archive into your data folder.

---------------------
Incompatibility:
---------------------

There should be no problems. But don't call any hud pictures (compass frame etc.) the same as the original with a 2 at the end. Then you get those pictures in the hud compass place :)
