This is not dependant on SI or any DLC, the original models and textures are part of the original game "Ceremonial Dagger" to be exact, I just deleted the scripts and enchantments and renamed it, set the stats the same as mehrunes dagger.
So if you don't have Mehrunes Razor DLC you can still use it.
Kuro, now that was a real stretch. Adding a quest, location set, NPCs, etc. is a far cry from just a weapon model.
It's like comparing a mod that gives you a non-playable version of Heaven's Wrath armor (NIF and DDS files only) and then saying that the Lost Paladins mod is nothing more than a plugin to unlock the armor set.
Pisses me off that everyone does what Bethesda did with this nowadays. Make finished, usable content, include it on the disc, but don't actually let people use it ingame unless you pay $5-10 more for the DLC, which is nothing more than a simple init/config file that unlocks content that not only shipped with the game, but was included on the disc.
Welcome to nextgen gaming, I guess. Good thing all this nickel-and-diming poo Microsoft is promoting is for the most part limited to consoles. I guess they figured the PC users are smart enough to know they're being ripped off.
As for the mod, there's a lot like it, but I'll use this anyway because I like making my own incredibly broken enchants with the hundreds of soulstones I've got rotting in my houses, and because I don't want to go digging through the pages to find the others.

I hope you see the difference.
