Auto Scanner Plus v2.2
This mod allows for the auto-scanning of various entities / structures within the game. It simply adds or modifies the GcScannableComponentData of entities \ structures so these items are visible on your Hud from a given distance, whether on foot or when in flight.
For crashed ships / freighters (essentially a distress signal) there is also an audio cue that these have been detected. The mod can also detect Curious Deposits. Where there are clusters of objects, such as Curious Deposits, there is a single icon representing the cluster initially. When you get close enough, each item will then have it's own icon.
Currently it supports the following:
Abandoned Buildings
Anomaly Rings
Base Sites (Wild Base Computers)
Crashed Ships / Freighters
Curious Deposits
Factories
Grave Sites
Minor Settlements
Monoliths
Observatories
Outposts (both trade and archive)
Planetary Settlements
Portals
Radio Towers
Remote Terminals
Ruin Sites
Treasure (buried) at Ruin Sites
Sentinel Hive (Active)
Sentinel Hive (Deactivated)
Due to the nature of this mod we touch many files which are listed below:
1. Browse to the "No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS" folder. 2. Delete, or better yet, rename the DISABLEMODS.TXT file. (__DISABLEMODS.TXT). 3. Ensure there is a folder named MODS (Uppercase!) within the PCBANKS folder. If not create it! 4. Place the <modname>.pak file(s) into the MODS folder (no subfolders!). 5. Start the game and wait for the loading screen to disappear.
If done correctly the game will display a MOD Warning Page: Click to continue. You should now be presented with your save games list to choose from to start playing.
