These two mods always confused me. Could we get some clarification in the description and the naming of files please?
Quicksilver Missions This one reads as: "QS Missions adds quicksilver rewards to normal missions at the nexus, space station mission boards, and outlaw bounty masters" So it seems to ADD quicksilver rewards TO the normal missions (at nexus/space station, etc).
And then... Quicksilver Daily Mission Reward Multiplier This reads: "Quicksilver Daily Mission Reward Multiplier multiples the quicksilver reward from daily and weekly nexus missions" So this would seem it MULTIPLIES the rewards you get from doing these missions (and/or with the above mod too).
But, when you go to download the first its has the QS mission files AND QS + Daily Reward Multiplier Option, which seems like an option to get both mods bundled into one on that mods' page. But the Multiplier site doesn't have the former or say that.
Am I overthinking this or is the first mod site all you need for both and the 2nd is redundant or are they both completely different and can be used in conjunction with one another. It's especially confusing when I download them to a holding repository and then go to move them into categories and try to differentiate without having to open the LUAs and look for differences.
Regardless of my confusion, I still love these mods and enjoy the work put into these. Thank you all the same!
buildmod.bat is at the root of the AMUMSS folder you created and extracted the archive to. You have to "install" AMUMSS to use the Lua. How to use AMUMSS at No Man's Sky Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com). If still having issues, almost impossible to support or walk you through AMUMSS install and usage on a forum like this. Would take weeks. Support can be had, real-time, at the NMS modding discord, https://discord.gg/22ZAU9H
There aren't that many, but if you want to troubleshoot this, real-time chat is the only way to go. Can get it handled in minutes. Not slow 48 hours for three messages to pass back and forth thing.
edit: To get quicksilver, select a save, go to exosuit tab and change the quicksilver value from 0 to 4,294,967,295. You can get FREE living ships from this editor.
1) Mod ,pak into PCBANKS\MODS, NOT GAMEDATA\MODS 2) PCBANKS\DISABLEMODS.TXT deleted or renamed 3) Most likely, you have one or more other mods that make changes to REWARDTABLE in your MODS folder, which is called a conflict. The game can only use one mod .pak with the same file, last one loaded "wins", all others are overwritten. REWARDTABLE is the most commonly modded file in the game. To find and resolve conflicts, you'll need AMUMSS (How to use AMUMSS at No Man's Sky Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)). Has a build in conflict checker (Vortex neither checks nor cares) and using Lua scripts that come with many mods, can combine any that conflict. If you aren't doing this, very good change that many of the mods you have in MODS aren't working.
Yep. With NMS, updates break mods. Not much can be done until an updated MBINCompiler (the tool used to decompile/recompile game files) is available. Until then we wait. Once that tool is updated, I can update the mod.
Not yet, still waiting. We got an update from the main developer a couple of hours ago. Basically, he'll continue working on it in about 10 hours time from now. We were hoping today, BUT the guy is on an expensive vacation that he spent thousands of dollars on, scheduled months ago. Can't fault him one bit for wanting to enjoy himself and we appreciate that he's willing to give up some of the vacation time to work on this. Fingers crossed it'll be tomorrow.
While I very much appreciate your asking, I will have to decline inclusion of my mod in a Modpack published on NexusMods. NexusMods now discourages usage of these due to various issues regarding permissions in the past. They now encourage an offical means of achieving the same thing, which debued earlier this year, called Collections. https://next.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/collections Collections are fully supported by NexusMods and the NMS modding community, so you are not required to obtain mod author permission in advanced for inclusion. As well, Collections are supported by the Vortex Mod Manager. I would be happy and humbled for you to include my mod in a Collection.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the Collections system can handle bug fixing / conflict resolving between different mods, otherwise I'd have gone that route. Thanks for your response!
Works exactly as described. Can't go wrong with this mod if you need to earn a lot of quicksilver quickly. I don't like playing with mods when I'm not using them, so I like to let my daily quests build up for three days, pop this bad boy in, and then go to town. Also a lot of credit to the author, who got an updated version out just days after the 4.0 update.

Enough people asked for a "mashup", that we added QS Missions and Daily Reward Multiplier as as an option for Quicksilver Missions. If you use one of the QS Missions and Daily Reward Multiplier .paks, you shouldn't have a .pak for Quicksilver Missions or Quicksilver Daily Mission Reward Multiplier in your MODS folder.
Hopefully, that clears things up. :)
Edit: I added some verbiage to the QS Missions and Daily Reward Multiplier download, to explain the above better.
Just wanted to be certain and thanks for the clarification!
Multiplier = 10
Process the changed Lua script through AMUMSS, to generate your custom .pak. Install and usage of AMUMSS at How to use AMUMSS at No Man's Sky Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
Note: I couldn't find a link to it as well.
Note: This is from my POV.
edit: The version I use is 1.15.2, my first one is 1.14.4 but it's currently outdated.
edit again: The editor I use is GoatFungus Save Editor.
edit: To get quicksilver, select a save, go to exosuit tab and change the quicksilver value from 0 to 4,294,967,295. You can get FREE living ships from this editor.
edit: Do you have a save editor???
edit: I've also went to galaxy center in permadeath mode on hardest settings.
edit: fixed
