Alright... Before I get started on what this mod does, I want to get something off my chest....
HOW THE HELL HAS THIS MOD NOT BEEN MADE YET!?!
I mean seriously, if not an actual official feature in the game, I would have expected SOMEONE to make this mod. But alas, that isn't the case, and I had to spend 3 weeks learning a different game engine and not make any progress on my Fallout 4 mods during that time.
Now that that is off my chest, let's get into the details of this mod.
This mod is simple! It changes the color palettes of frigates to match freighters. This makes the same home seed being able to be used on them and get matching paint colors. If you are unfamiliar with what a home seed is, it is the code freighters and frigates use for their paint jobs, and can be changed using NMS Save Editor (I am not endorsing cheating in any way here! I only use save editor for changing the appearance of my multi-tools and ships, and anyone who uses it for cheating should think about just playing creative like a normal person.). I will not go into detail on how to change the seeds, because once you download NMS Save editor, the UI is pretty self explanatory.
Compatibility:
Not compatable with mods that edit TEXTURES\COMMON\SPACECRAFT\FRIGATES\SURFDETAIL.TEXTURE.MBIN and TEXTURES\COMMON\SPACECRAFT\FRIGATES\WARRIORTILED.TEXTURE.MBIN. I have yet to see a mod that edits these files.

- This Reddit Post: This post is the most helpful place I have found for finding home seeds for Freighters and Frigates. He has around 100 or so home seeds ready to use. He also gave me details on how to make this mod in his post, explaining what exactly the difference is between Freighter and Frigate color palettes, so kudos to him! This mod wouldn't be here with all his testing!
- REQUIRED: No Man's Sky Save Editor: Required in order to change the seeds of the ships. Or to cheat if that floats your boat. Do what you want as long as it doesn't affect me.
