So what's it do? This mod makes the Solar Powered perk go from "A Situationally useful perk" to "A very useful perk" by massively buffing the regeneration. Any Fallout player knows that resources, specifically Stimpaks are extremely hard to come by unless you buy them. So anyone who sees this perk's description will likely consider getting it, but little would they know that Solar Powered's Regen is fucking garbage.
The base perk provides a whopping "1 hp every 30 seconds" that is so horrendously awful that you could stand outside in the game for 1 real-world hour and still not get all your health back, and that's for LOW-LEVEL characters.
But what's even more flabbergasting is in Fallout 3 this perk was PATCHED to have better regen, why this change was undone (And made even worse than it was pre-patched)? No idea. But what I do know is that its bullshit!
So I've restored the Fallout 3 version of this perk which provides a reasonable 1hp per second. This may seem overpowered at first but this will only replace Stimpaks, out of combat since literally, everything is going to out-damage 1hp per second healing.
How do I install it? Simple, install it like any other ESP mod
Manually:
Put the ESP file in your New Vegas Data folder
Vortex/MO2:
Click the "install with Mod manager" button or use your mod manager to open the "FO3SolarPoweredForFNV.7z" file
Will this be compatible with _______ No idea, it should be compatible with everything, if there is a mod that happens to modify the Solar Powered perk then have this load after it.
