PSA: if updating tick fix, make sure to re enable the INI change as it defaults back, otherwise you will crash on worldspace loading.

Guys, if you are experiencing troubles with stutters and crashes when using this gorgeous mod (just like i did), so you need to go to your New Vegas Tick Fix (NVTF) ini file and set iTweakRCSafeGuard  to 2. Also you need to set bModifyDirectXBehavior to 1. And problem almost goes away, but remaining stutters wil be almost unnoticeable. It helped me very much

Have a problem with the file size, level of compression, or texture format? Run the mod through a tool such as Cathedral Assets Optimizer or Octagon to tweak the textures to your liking. Please be aware that at certain resolutions and texture formats quality can and will be degraded.

Trying to edit the NVTF INI and iTweakRCSafeGuard isn't listed in the file? Did it get removed for compatability at some point? Very confused.

I am having this shadow glitch that is from this texture pack, where rubble pile textures are pitch black until I walk up to them. It looks like a shadow is on it until I walk up to it. Any fix for this?

Superb quality, i wish there would be a pack like this covering architecture.
Got a question: the lower resolution of normals is the only difference between Quality and Balanced or some diffuses have lower resolution too ie will there be any difference between Balanced and Balanced with replaced diffuse textures from Quality?

thats why they say put this over nmc as that does buildings. what is not covered by either just use the Physically Based mods.

Hey I'm having a really weird issue. Its sort of like I have a bubble of sharpness around me I guess? Anything close to me look great but anything not (like 5ft or more) is super low res. I regenerated the lods and everything following viva new vegas. Im not using any reshades or ENB's

Yes, the question was a bit ridiculous. Let me fix it. Does this mod fix things like weather?

Needs a patch to work with:
Wasted LOD - Cliffs of the Mojave
It really improves upon the LOD meshes greatly, but is sadly incompatible with most (if not all?) texture packs.

I'd love to, but I'm not sure the method that author uses for creating their LOD textures on their new meshes.

Well that makes it hard to remedy, for now I'm just running without it. Your texture pack  is too good to play without.
I see that the mod author was active last may, so there might be some hope to getting it fixed (eventually).

Sadly the author of wasted is not intrested in doing it. (he was bored to death making the original mod)

      Can't blame him at all.

Is there something I'm missing? Because I've installed the mod, regen'd my LOD, finicked with the load order, have installed any and all hard requirements, have archive invalidation enabled on MO2, and the texture pack doesn't ever load up at all. My game is still stuck on vanilla textures and nothing I do is getting the texture pack to apply itself. What am I doing wrong?? I don't have any other mod managers, so it can't be archive invalidation clashing, and my game isn't in a part of my drive that would block file adjustments, so I have no clue what's going on.

Getting a color mismatch from the toxic waste pools. the outside of the pools is bright and the surrounding textures are much darker. Makes them pop out all weird. Is it supposed to look like that?

the reason your game most likely doesnt look like the screenshots is the lighting, it can make all the difference, if the textures arnt showing up, check whats overwriting the textures and rearrange your load order

Has anyone tried compressing textures using CAO? How are the results?
