Description
Vanilla Enhanced is a preset for ReShade, which is a lightweight post-processing visual enhancement. Unlike ENBs, ReShade is accessible, optimized, and easy to modify. Vanilla Enhanced ReShade preset was created to mimic the look and feel of an ENB without the severe performance impact ENBs often have. ReShade does not require the user to disable the vanilla anti-aliasing built in the game which results in a much better visual and less pixelated edges.

Performance
I performed a performance benchmark on the strip using my system and compared the average fps of all versions.
This benchmark was created at the exact spot, exact game time, exact same save, and 1 minute after game launch.

These benchmarks are static meaning there was no player movement.
Performance dips from movement in ENBs were more severe, though every system is different.

Try both files first to see what works for you. This is how each file differs:

Vanilla Enhanced ReShade Preset
If you want good visual fidelity and you're sick of ENB's poor anti-aliasing use this.
Remember to enable vanilla Anti-Aliasing in the game launcher.

Vanilla Enhanced Maximum Performance ReShade Preset
If your computer is struggling with most visual enhancement mods and you want the same color palette and smoothness use this.
Light and weather sources take a slight visual hit and reduce the fantastic effects from light sources. This file disables ambient lighting and bloom.
Use vanilla Anti-Aliasing at your discretion.
Uses 1/10 the performance of Vanilla Enhanced. Surprisingly good considering how little performance it uses.

Disables ambient lighting: Light sources will not glow and light will lose it's depth.
Disables bloom: Weather or lighting sources will not dynamically adjust due to position or how you look at them.
To help with weather and lighting a lightweight fake HDR is used.

Installation
Go to ReShade's website.
1) Click "Download"
2) Save executable anywhere and launch it
3) Press "Click here to select a game and manage its ReShade installation"
4) Browse to your Fallout New Vegas folder and click on FalloutNV.exe
5) Install all packages by clicking on each one
6) Press OK
7) Check mark all files .fx files and continue clicking OK
8) Drag any of the VanillaEnhanced.ini files you downloaded to your /Fallout New Vegas folder
9) Launch the game
10) Press the HOME button on your keyboard
11) Click on the dropdown menu next to the plus button
12) Select the VanillaEnhanced.ini you downloaded
13) Enable the performance mode checkmark at the bottom right corner
14) Enjoy
