About this mod

Adds 2 Traits and 2 Perks for Melee Characters to make them more enjoyable to play.

Permissions and credits
2 New Traits : 

- Tribal Disdain : Melee Weapons are slowed by 25% but your Damage Threshold is increased by +4 against Guns and Energy Weapons users as long as you're equipped with a melee weapon.

Note : I've always found vanilla attack speed to be way too fast, which is why I made this Trait for more impactful blows. You can see it in action here.

- Grognak Spirit : You've had visions of Grognak after getting shot in the head, and he has enlightened you with his gifts (and his flaws) : you suffer a -3 INT but your Unarmed and Melee Weapons skills are increased by +10, and your Survival skill by +15.

Note : Your character must have at least 4 in INT to be able to pick this trait.



2 New Perks : 

- Wasteland Knight : Requires Level 12, 7 Strength, 45 Melee Weapons

Grants you a 10% running speed bonus when equipped with a Fire Axe (or its unique version), a Bumper Sword, a Thermic Lance or a Rebar Club (notice that you just need to equip one of these weapons to get the running speed bonus, you don't need to actually hold it in your hands).


- Warrior Priest : Requires Level 18, 8 Strength, 65 Melee Weapons

If you like the Brotherhood of Steel paladin archetype. Grants a 20% running speed bonus when equipped with a Super Sledge (or its unique version). With it you can finally wear these heavy armors without getting kitted for ever (and like Wasteland Knight, just equip the weapon via your Pip-Boy to get the bonus, it's not necessary to have your character holding the weapon in its hands).




A few Melee Weapons Damage Balances :

- Bumber Sword and Rebar Club damage are increased to 54 for the Sword and 60 for the Club, instead of 32 for the Sword and 42 for the Club, as these weapons require a lot of strength to be used. Although of poor quality, they are still very massive. 
(These changes should also make Super Mutants deadlier).

- Fire Axe damage decreased to 48 instead of 55 (because it only requires 5 in strength).

These few balances were mostly made for these weapons to work better with the "Wasteland Knight" perk, giving a mid-game efficiency with more weapons variety.

- For Throwing Weapons I could suggest the use of Quick Throw to avoid "latency" with that kind of weapon, combined with Retrievable Throwables and Sensible Throwing Weapons Recipes
