Good effort, I do wish it could be made to look just a little more blocky.  The Mateba has a very angular look to it.  But I like the style.

I love the model, but the damage output could be better. Maybe add a 2.5 crit multiplier, similar to that gun? This way your gun gonna stand out more, be something between good old western revolvers and more modern .223 pistols.

While obviously a bit redundant next to the regular 44 revolver, I always really like the clever recycling of assets you do for your mods. The 12mm pistol grip especially looks really nice here!

Perhaps you could make an alternate caliber version to make it less redundant?

I don't think it's redundant. I get tired of finding the same old weapons over and over in the game. Variety is a good thing. I'm not wild about it being named an "autorevolver" but the mod author explained that one (I'll probably change it for my own use).

The game doesn't have any revolvers that fire from the lower cylinder. I've never fired one in real life, but it's supposed to reduce muzzle flip since the recoil is more straight into your wrist. The trade-off is that at close range you end up with sighting errors from the sights being much higher than the barrel.

It doesn't seem to have any real-life equivalent but it has a lot of similarities to the Mateba 2006M, which fires a .357 magnum cartridge. Nothing wrong with it being in .44 though. It looks beefy enough to handle the cartridge.

I'm considering changing it to .357 in the Mega-Pack version. Also, if you can suggest a different generic name that's as snappy as "Autorevolver" I'm all ears. I originally went with "Inverted Revolver" or "Underbarrel Revolver" but that implies it's mounted to a rifle like a grenade launcher or Master Key.

I think .44 is fine but the Chiappa and the Mateba are both .357. Maybe you can make both as variants?

I went poking around on google and it turns out that a lot of folks do call these "underbarrel revolvers". Seems a bit odd to me too but I couldn't find a better name for them.

"Semi-automatic revolver" attracted me for a bit, was hoping for something more in the style of a Webley-Fosbery, but this works fine too. Defo am going to try it whenever its put into the weapon pack.

I once saw a weird prototype sem-auto revolver with a gas piston type of system, so that was my first thought when I saw the title. The gas system made that pistol look a lot more steam-punky than this one.

This one looks like it is styled more after the Mateba Unica 6, especially since the barrel is aligned with the bottom of the cylinder. I'm a little confused though since the Mateba and the Webley-Fosbery both have the trigger basically fixed to the grip while the barrel and cylinder move back and forth to cycle the action. The frame on this pistol won't allow that type of action. Also, the top of a Mateba is just reinforcement for the barrel. This one looks like it's hiding a gas port and some type of gas piston system.

This is technically more of a Chiappa Rhino, which is not a true semi-auto revolver but a Double Action/Single Action low-bore axis revolver. But "Autorevolver" sounded cooler and doesn't take up as many lines of text in the Pip-Boy.

Gotcha. I'd compare it more to a Mateba 2006M than a Chiappa Rhino. Same basic idea though.

      Makes sense now. Thanks!
