I have altered the INI file with the following keybinding: iHUDKeycode=13 iSelectKeycode=4096 After this I noticed hitting D-Pad Up also brings up the Quick Aid Menu unintentionally regardless of how I change the two settings above, is this being hard-coded similar to the right thumbstick for the iSelectKeycode setting? If so could the author consider giving an option to remove those hard-coded default keybindings? Another thing is despite the fact that I set the select key to become button A on gamepad, hitting A while the Quick Aid Menu is open within the pip-boy does not work as intended (I think it acts as if the Quick Aid Menu is not open), could the author consider disable what-ever other keys the user may have pressed while the Quick Aid Menu is open such that those key-press are only considered directions for the Quick Aid Menu. The only way I found that can reliably bind an aid item in pip-boy is to use the right thumbstick (hard-coded). One last thing I noticed is with the following setting: bHUDIsToggle=1Hitting the HUD key code key works as intended only outside of pip-boy; this key still needs to be held within pip-boy to bring up the menu, could this behavior be made consistent both in and out of pip-boy?
Great mod, but the zoom in effect whenever the menu opens is really disorienting for me and makes it weird to use with Just Weapon Hweel, which doesn't zoom.
Would it be possible to add a config option to disable the zoom effect?
EDIT: Nevermind! Turns out the key I bound this to (left alt) has a vanilla effect I didn't know about.
Could use MCM config instead of .INI and it would be awesome if it was implemented like an actual menu (so you can mouseover a wedge to select it and Mouse1 to activate it) but overall it gets the job done.
This is almost exactly what I hoped to find. For my purposes, I think that a strip of 8 squares tucked between the two halves of the bottom UI would be better than a radial, and there would be the ability to either whitelist or blacklist what items can/can't be assigned, so that the pipboy can be disabled in combat and a small selection of aid items can be made accessible in realtime -- with animations, for a nice hardcore playthrough. But I might just see if I can do it myself! Sometimes, I am more ambitious than my capability, so we'll see.
I figured for all of my addictions one wheel is not enough :D , so I cloned yours as standalone, all whats changed is, the name of the mod and the referenced paths aswell as the formIDs. So the FoodMenu, does the same as your mod but it is now an additional wheel on a different hotkey (default = B)
For users who might use FPSMouseWheel in addition with JustLootMenu and this mod (no matter if both food&aid or just one of it) might also be interested in this patch for the FPSMouseWheel: scroll fix

The wheel appears while navigating AID items in the Pipboy, but they don't get sent to the wheel
Bummer
