About this mod

A font replacement based on Fallout 1 and 2 for Fallout NV and Fallout 3 including accents (àáâäå).
-New Description with hopefully better readability!
-Semi-compatible with Darn UI, read "POSTS"

Requirements
Permissions and credits
The original font was taken from Fallout Classic Fonts. My version adds accents.

To Manually Install:
1. Extract .ZIP file in steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas (the main folder with launcher.exe)
2. Edit the font lines in Fallout_default.ini
- Open .ini with Notepad. (read below for the .inis you need to edit)
- Use CTRL+F to open search box.
- Type [Fonts] exactly. and press Enter or Find Next.
- Edit these font lines as stated below in step 3.
-You can use any font in any line. Vanilla fonts work, or I use a font from Alternative Font Pack also.
-Line 5 is the Computer Prompt. the spacing on this gets messed up with other fonts. especially while using the hacking tool. if you edit this
line though, i suggest getting a mod that makes hacking computers easier.

To Install With a Mod manager:
-I use Mod Organizer 2. I have this set up to download straight to MO2 using the Mod Manager Download Button.
-You can do that or click Manually Install and open the zip in MO2, Nexus MM, etc. with "Add a File button" or "Install New File from Archive"
-With MO2, go to downloads and install it there after downloading it.

Next, editing your .inis is Required both if you installed manually or installed with a mod manager.
-Change your [Fonts] in Fallout_default.ini (Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas)
-Change your [Fonts] in Fallout.ini (Users\****\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV)
-I also change FalloutPrefs.ini, but I don't don't know if it helps for this.

3. First try a default fonts lineup like in step 4. (line 9 doesnt change anything, and see step 2 to see why line 5 is the same as default)
-As my font is named "fallout.ini", edit it as in Step 4.
-As stated above, these can be edited mostly to your liking. simply change the font name to a font in your fonts folder.
-I especially recommend Traktir_Outline_36 and Russo_One_Shadowed_14 from Alternative Font Pack as Line 8 (sFontFile_8)

- Recommended interface mods that add to the classic feel
Interface Mod - Revelation (Classic Fallout UI)
Desert Ranger Interface
Talking Heads Dialog Interfaces - Make sure to overwrite the revelation dialog menu with this.
HUD interface revelation style - This overrides "interfaceshared0.dds" so I recommend manually adding this to your file, through a photo editor.
Return of the Talking Heads  - Make sure to overwrite the revelation dialog menu with this. (works with fnv).
Pip-Boy Classic Scan Lines Texture
oHUD - For UI movement.
