Troubleshooting If JohnnyGuitar NVSE doesn't seem to be working (other mods complain that it's not installed, or you don't see its effects in the game or GECK):
Make sure that xNVSE 6.3.0 or newer is installed (can be tested using GetNVSEVersionFull command in game console)
If the above didn't help, post nvse.log file (found in game folder) in the comments using pastebin.com.
If the above steps were not followed, complaints will be ignored.
If you experience issues (CTDs, lags, etc.) that go away if you remove JohnnyGuitar NVSE:
JG does very little on its own, so these issues are most likely caused by mods utilizing its features. Find mods that require JG in your load order, disable them and see if the problem goes away. If yes, report it on the relevant mod page.
If the above didn't help, it's possible that a recent update of JG is causing it. In case of crashes, install Crash Logger, disable NVAC, run the game until it crashes and post the CobbCrashLogger.log file it produced in comments.
The Viva New Vegas team now maintains a repository of INI presets with diverse options preconfigured for ideal usage aimed at mod users, as we've now decided to keep JG itself with the minimum options enabled so that mod creators can have their test environments unaffected by our gameplay patches. im not entirely sure but i recently updated my modlist, this one included, and since its important for so many mods, i cant even get the main menu to load. its just that the song plays and nothing happens. is that a problem on my failure?
didnt work. im totally at loss about whats going on. i know that you need a few plugins to make most mods work Johnnyguitar showoff xnvse nvac jip ln
so its gotta be one of those mods right? im really blank now....i started modding this game recently and not being able to even intialize the main menu is just peak bethesda game design again....
Disable NVAC and install Tweaks and Crash Logger. Tweaks will tell you if the crash is due to a missing master file or broken HUD, crash logger will give more information if that's not the problem. NVAC just pretends there's no problem which is why you get stuck with a song playing and nothing loads
I don't have NVAC, I'm on Steam Deck if it matters, and I'm only seeing a few loading screens after launching before it stays on one with the music playing. No text on screen. I have Tweaks, I love your mod. I don't seem to be generating any crash log. I haven't played in 2 months, but everything was working back then, before I updated today.
EDIT: After some testing, the issue in my case was Claim the Mojave because I updated The Living Desert.
Claim the Mojave also updated their patch for TLD. Let's see if this helps
So my mouse loads but I still can't see the main menu. I can move the mouse, the game is working, it shows 60 fps and all. But still no main menu options to select.
I have exact this problem if i use the last Version of this Mod.Cancelling all files from this Mod and the game work again fine. Not sure what is the problem have all Req up to date and the game and Mods work all good there is no error message not in the Console or any Note in the game folder. But with this Mod the game start and stop in the Main Menue with not text but i can hear the Music
Edit: Ok i find the problem Sunny Smiles Companion Mod seams to conflict with Jhonny Mod if i disable Sunny the game load again normal
I just updated "lStewieAl's Tweaks and Engine Fixes" and "JohnnyGuitar NVSE" and now I get this message
""The form (Russell.esp#25019687) has scripts that failed to compile when calling command GetQuestVariable. This may cause a crash if the script is called.""
and it's not the only one if I click yes then another mod involving quests have the same issue.
I think I have found a solution because other people have asked for something similar like this of course in the past and from the looks of it my entire load order somehow became f***** up just by updating those two mods and now I need to start completely from scratch and uninstall and reinstall everything
From the description "Over 250 new functions and event handlers." All those mods use the scripts and event handlers from this mod to function. If you look at the description it tells you what the mod does. Additionally it fixes bugs from the base game and helps with overall stability even for "unmodded" games.

Do you think that Claim the Mojave is outdated? Why do you wanna leave it?

; Fixes voice lines for actor's death being cut off halfway through.

Seems like ▲ that JohnnyGuitar.ini setting was contributing to the issue. Set to 0.
