Lower tier mercenaries level up 40-20% faster than tier 3 mercenaries
Once they have enough XP, they can get field promotions
You can give a field report to any commander, and they will grant field promotions if possible
Field promotions increase either health, DR or critical chance of the merc
Trust system
Mercenaries will grow their trust in you over time as you travel together
You also earn their trust by helping them with ingestibles
Their trust increase greatly when getting field promotions
Trust gives you additional discount for pays
This version also adds configuration via ini file, which is very handy.
You can hire a total of four mercenaries
There are three ranks, from weaker to stronger
They demand a weekly salary, counting since the day they were hired
Their salary is reduced by your barter skill and their trust in you
If you don't pay them, they'll leave
They can be rehired within one day after leaving you
They get experience in battle
Their trust in you improves with time and interactions
They can heal after battle and be essential, configurable (default Off)
You can give them basic wait and follow commands, directly or through a radio
The radio gives global order to all your hired mercs
They have their own storage, but won't use anything you put in it
When they leave or die, your stored equipment is given back to you
You can help them with stimpaks, antivenoms, chems and drugs
They can be dismissed at any time
They'll teleport to you if they get too far away, configurable (default ON)
Higher tier mercs have better gear. Their gear also depends on player level
You can replace all their gear for free a number of times, configurable
You can repair their weapon with repair kits
You can buy new weapons and helmet for them
Commanders will sell some gear
Extra Armors Module - Adds five armors and four helmets to mercs and commander vendor list. No extra requirements, I got permission from the authors (Thanks a lot).
