You should add "flintlock" in your mod name due to a lot of people included me finding a good flintlock mod in New Vegas and when I search the keyword "Flintlock", all the flintlock mod appears but your mod.
Also the damage seems weak but in game you can almost one shot 1 kill a lot of type of enemy, except those has a lot of DT, then it will be a different story.
1) This is a very nice weapon mod. It looks incredible and I will add it to my load order very soon. 2) Your game looks incredible. I am immensely jealous sir :-/
Looks great - when I am at my home PC, I should try it.
If possible, I would suggest to add cap on the piston. What is on the pictures would be unable to fire for the same reason, as normal cartridge without primer.
Small question/suggestion: I was once thinking about making similar gun. One idea I had was to allow player to buy several pistols, "merge" them at workbench and make it like "repeater". So you could fire several times before reloading. Just cock the hammer, fire, repeat. Same as it was possible and done in the era of this guns - pirates are shown wielding multiple pistols for example. Of course, the weight would be increased. Would you think about doing something alike?
The reloading wasn't probably as bad - military standard for more cumbersome rifle was 3 rounds in a minute and prussian infantry was said to be trained up to almost insane 5 shots in a minute. Using pre-loaded paper semi-cartridges.
